    Default Chris Wood

Leicester listening to offers, he's exactly what we need to complement Fryatt.

One good stint at Milwall. Not been great at Leicester. I've not checked but Fryatts figures are probably more impressive.

I'd like to see him here. A strike force of Veldwijk, Fryatt, Wood, and Cox would be more than good enough

I think I'd rather stick with the the strikers we've got, and spend the money on Assombalonga or Adomah for the wings.
I'm sure Fryatt, Lars, Cox, Walker, Dex will be good enough up front. If we're going for another striker I'd rather we got someone more likely to add firepower rather than just competition for similar quality.

Slowest front line in the division. A lot of lead in those boots.

Lars is meant to have an alright turn of pace isn't he? At least for a big man. Wood doesn't look too slow here. We could do with a rapid forward though, yeah

He had to shove a 36 year old in the back to get the ball though.

We need a player whose instinct is to get in behind, playing on defenders shoulders.

I fear with the total lack of pace in our squad that the opposition will push up and compress us without fear of being caught out.

I'm still to be convinced that SP won't utilise Paterson in that role.

He definitely has the pace and certainly knows where the net is.

He has quick feet but I don't see him as particularly fast, just nimble. Plus playing him there takes away our only genuine width.

We'll have to agree to differ.

I've no doubt that Paterson has sufficient pace to get in behind and stretch defences and, as you rightly say, he has the quick feet and skills to turn defenders in the box.

Chasing back to cover his full-back partner is a waste of his main assets in my opinion.

Agree, he's not a winger he's a no 10. Play him where Radi and Mcgugan have failed in the past.
