    Default Jobi McAnuff

@SkySportsPeteO 17m - Nottingham Forest are eyeing a move for former Reading winger Jobi McAnuff. #NFFC #Readingfc

Was a good player, but is 32 (33 in November) too old?

Definitely need some younger legs in midfield, and a bit more pace though don't know maybe McAnuff is still quick

I think we have plenty of youth throughout the squad, Lansbury, Paterson, Veldwijk, Lascelles, Darlow, Osborn, Laing, even the likes of Hobbs and Lichaj are pretty young, a few more older heads who have been there and done it wouldnt be a bad thing

But in my opinion, getting rid of McAnuff is a big mistake. It’s two years too early.

I’ve not known a player who is more respected in a changing room. Every young player I’ve spoken to this season has said McAnuff is the man they turn to when they need to talk.

Id have him in a heart beat. Great player with great quality. Can cover the holding midfield role with Vaughan as both a little older so legs not as fresh as they were, but both got old heads and can steer the young lads in front of them. Get him in phsyco, exactly the type of player you want at Forest.

Don't know much about him but turns 33 in November, and hasn't particularly caught my eye in the past. Burke would be my pick, from the ageing, out of contract wingers we've been linked with so far.

When I lived in London I occasionally watched West Ham, and saw him play as a youngster for them, and straight away he stood out as a decent player. I am surprised he is now 33, as it doesn't seem that long ago (my old age showing now). I don't think he quite lived up to his expectations, but still a decent player.

red sauce only adds to the flavour, not a fan of a brown sauce goatee though

Can't get aroused being linked to a 33 year old winger looks like we are only in for freebies.
