    He appears to have mellowed a lot as a person but still has that passion for football and from listening to him on Sky Sports News and the rest, he clearly thinks a lot about the game.

    So I think being on the training ground with players suits him more than having to listen to their whingeing in his office on a daily.

    He always talked well when he was here.

    The problem began when he needed to transfer the words into reality.

    He is no doubt a very good coach, just a shame he's at West Ham.

    I was about to make fun of the fact that players who go back to former clubs always say what a thrill etc. Not being fully cognisant of his career after leaving us I looked it up. Despite only being at West Ham for a couple of seasons, he was Hammer of the season for one of them!

    Truly a legend wherever he goes.
