    Default Stuart Pearce Appreciation Thread

I decided to make this thread for any new articles, videos, sound-bytes or anything else Psycho related that's been in the media to make your balls go a bit fizzy. Here is one from this afternoon from our leader

He's been an absolute breath of fresh and not just because of his legendary status. Everyone from the media enjoyed his company earlier and you feel a great sense of connection from the Stuart to the media back to us and that what's been lacking for a number of years here. Also their's also a massive sense of trust from himself his staff and people like John McGovern, hopefully he will have a successful season here.

I think you've hit the nail on the head with trust. It just appears that everyone is buying into what he is trying to do, he even said Far-waz would listen to his recommendations for CEO. Now that would obviously be a massive concern if it was he that shall not be named but with SP you get the sense of belief that anything he does is for the good of the club and that there are no hidden agendas.

I like that he's already established a distinctive training ground stance. Just look at that stance

I like the openness of it all, it's nice. I can honestly see us keeping with him for a long, long time. If things went very wrong and we were 18th or something, very, very few Forest fans would call for his head, and the majority would still be screaming his name at matches.

Fawaz won't sack him, I just can't see it. People think he's trigger happy but in reality the only manager he sacked that shouldn't really have been sacked was O'Driscoll. Glad he was though in the long run

Looking at him getting stuck in at training gets me excited. I bet he could put a shift in on the pitch too!

I love the fact he seems to be getting ingrained into every level of the club. Great stuff

My wife said I sat and watched him on EMT with a far away look in my eyes. The blokes given the whole club such a lift.

Aye, I went a bit starry eyed with memories flooding back seeing him training with the lads.
Its good he has stressed in a roundabout way we urgently need a CEO as well.

Whether we end midtable or whatever next season I have no doubts SP is the right man for Forest right now. The club can only get stronger from here on in.

I have no memories of him whatsoever since I started going to Forest in '99, but even people as young as me are feeling the nostalgia. Guess that's the power the bloke's got, it's quality.

I got into Forest in 1996. Just when they threatened to stay up after beating Arsenal. Got into Forest all because of this guy. He's my hero.

Words cannot express how impressed I am so far. A very intelligent bloke is SP he is hitting everything absolutely 100% on the nail. Cannot ask for anything more. Also sounds like he is in constant touch with Far-waz. I think SP, McGovern and Far-waz already have the making of a very strong team. Can't smile wide enough at the moment. This is exactly how being a Forest supporter should feel. Loving it.

He seems switched on to exactly what is wrong and what needs improving/working on here at the club. His openness and obvious care and affection for the club and its future is such a breath of fresh air after a certain former agenda ridden manager.

I don't need articles, videos, or sound bytes for Psycho's homecoming, my son's middle name is Pearce, after my son Stuart Pearce is my hero, in my hallway the first thing I see is my framed and signed pic of Psycho - which should be enough to inspire even those on suicide watch, and that is why, even if he fails, I'll still have 12 seasons of passion, pride, and genuine fist pumping in my memory, and they are memories I will never, ever forget.
