I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

    Are you staying at home?
I miss getting down to the Trent.
It is a great river, whether I have my camera, my fishing tackle or just the Mrs and the dogs.

Bella got a bit upset 'cos I didn't take her photo...
Anyway, here are 2 for the price of 1.
Taken in the garden this afternoon, after a lot (I mean a lot) of treats and orders from the Mrs.

Yes, of course I’m staying at home.

I live 2 mins from the river and 5 mins from where I took this photo.

Some people, however, are still driving to the village to walk their dogs.

Repeated 20 second hand washing has its upsides.
I would be picking another 6 pints of dandelion flowers this week but it is difficult getting hold of wine makers yeast at the moment.
I have had some on order for over a week now.
I can't do another batch until that yeast has arrived.

Great photo. I'm thinking of getting one of these. Just for general fishing and wildlife photos as an upgrade from using my phone. It looks decent, what do you think?

Bought her that buggered off something like that and it was fine, took some nice photos but I know bugger all about photography. Seems things can get a bit pricey if you let them. Barbus is your man and the Captain.

All Canon bodies are generally excellent. That EOS is a decent starting-platform, and you can get some fantastic lenses that’ll bolt right on.

The standard 18-55mm kit lens it comes with is OK, but a very quick update can be had by buying the Canon EOS 50mm f1.8 Prime Lens (you can pick it up for less than £100 online) as that is a fantastic Canon Prime and will massively improve your photography, especially for Portraits.
