Default PFA Team of the Year - Reid makes cut.

It's been announced - as expected really, Andy Reid makes the cut.

    full team...

Schmeichel, Trippier, Cresswell, Shackell, Morgan, Hughes, Bryson, Drinkwater, Reid, Ings and McCormack.

I can't argue too much with that team - Well done to all involved.

    Is that Will Hughes?
I've yet to see anything about him, the most overhyped player ever.

Every list that has been put up by people who watch him every week, play against him...etc have him in it.

I don't think he has ever stood out against us, other than the game at the City Ground last season where I was shocked about how much he throws himself about for a slight lad - but I don't begrudge him a place.

In fact, I would say I'm glad, on some level, that someone hasn't just looked at the stat table and picked a team based on that. I guess he is largely the reason Derby are one of the most dominant sides in possession.

Also, I guess his inclusion means no place for Joey Barton, which I can enjoy... on many levels.

Fair enough, I have probably seen him 5 times this season without him leaving any impression. I wouldn't swap him for Lansbury for instance.

I guess their fans would say the same - I think that's the problem with 'hyped' players, they're often cut down because of the label they have been given.

We've had it with Darlow and Lascelles, many young players with tags become targets for critics.

For instance, I've not seen much from Drinkwater either, if I'm being honest - but on what I've heard, I agree he should be there.

Andy Reid is the best midfielder in the Championship.

    Well done Reidy!

Well done to Reid, deserves that.

Can't argue with the team, pretty much spot on. Lansbury doesn't deserve a spot in there, really like him still though. But for many games I thought many of his qualities were being nullified by our own tactics, which is a shame.

Drinkwater if they need a penalty, presumably.

So glad he's being acknowledged away from the club for all he's put in this season.
    Well done Reidy.

    Will Hughes, really?

Lots of my mates have been disappointed with him this year.

Sometimes I think having a reputation for being an exciting talent can do you wonders in teams like this...

Not seen Hughes have a good game in a long time but can't disregard a vote from his peers their opinion is far more valid on the issue, must be doing something right!

Well done Reidy. I'm sure more of our players would be in there if they'd been fit. Reidy will be in there next season with Lansbury, Vaughan, Darlow, Hobbs and Pato

I don't think he's even been in the Sheep's starting eleven the last few games has he?

Hobbs would have been in there. He's still in the top five on all the stats websites' lists.

Wes Morgan has to have broken a record for most appearances in Championship Team of the Season

Wes Morgan? He's been hugely disappointing.
