    Default Marcus Tudgay

Well wtf has Marcus done to not get a game.

He has played one game for us this year as a sub and scored one goal.

EVERYONE should be given a chance .

Marcus will leave the club at the end of the season, And I for one will laugh my bollocks off when he scores for his new club only then might people say Lard was right Forest fucked up big time.

All the best Marcus hope your Solidbuild has a good year.

He'd be okay at Lg 1 level now. He's not up to top end championship performances. Then so are a few others of our second string. I think the revolving door needs to be spinning pretty rapidly come the end of season. Get rid of a few and bring in some quality youngsters to bolster what is a strong core.

    DOLE! Tudgay!

He has a worse scoring record than Cox and played at lower league levels.

We've sponsored him long enough. Time to cut the cord unfortunately.

Think him not coming on yesterday probably signalled the end.

Reckon Henderson still being in contract played a part on him coming on instead of Tudgay.

Pity Tudgay couldn't stay fit the last few weeks, we could be having the same debate as we are with Derbyshire.

Shame that djebbour could've lit the league on fire from his quality finishing. Please no one destroy me with comments saying "djebbour is terrible, fat and slow" because he hasn't been given a proper chance but it will probably happen. Maybe during the summer they could finnaly see who our best striker is once and for all. And that Pearce could bring a a togetherness in the squad.

Always said with Djebbour he made the runs but with injuries to Reid and Lansbury, there have been hardly any midfielders smart enough to play a pass to set him in. The one game he played with both - he scored his only goal for us even if it was a tap in.

Djebbour suffers from the old English mentality. If he stays predominantly up front, he is lazy and crap. If he runs around like a headless chicken, he is hardworking. This country would rather have a load of Simon Cox's.

Just been told an interesting snippet about Tudders.

Apparently he was set to be put in the player/coach role under Billy next year and had agreed terms.

Has since been told he is no longer needed and has been offered a decent contract (Barnsley) apparently although in discussions elsewhere.

Also, apparently he isnt a massive fan of football, just a decent player.

Wishing him the best of luck. A good servant to the club and give 100% regardless of if he's in or out of the team.

    Cheers Goal! Tudgay!

played ok today imho held the ball up and played well at the back (but most people will ignore this ) Missed a sitter but given the fact it was only his 2nd game for us this year I feel for him, I would rather have him as back up than Hendo or cox but I can't see stu giving him another year.
Thank you Marcus I love you sweet cheeks.

Some aspects of a good player on show but also aspects of someone who 1 probably isnt good enough for us and 2 hasnt played enough

I agree he's better than Hendo. On a couple of occasions he and Derbyshire linked up okay.
However I would get rid of all our "strikers" except Derbyshire. I think it is the area we need to change the most.
In forward/wing positions I would keep Mackie and Pato with Pato able to switch between striker and forward.
I think we need to bring in two or three strikers and hopefully bring someone through from the U21s.

    Good luck Tudders.

His record is so poor and he has played in lower leagues coupled with the fact he is not young and has absolutely no technique. He will always be remembered fondly because of those two derby goals but he is crap and he is part of the overration epidemic we have at club! Better than Henderson don't make me laugh. Don't get me wrong Hendo and cox are rubbish but that should put Tudders record in even more perspective and context. Good luck you always tried your best fans always appreciate that it's not his fault I wish him all the best but I can't wait to see much better players.

You have never liked him and sadly we will never agree on Marcus , For the record Hendo is a thug and has been piss poor this year yet he has had far more game time than Marcus, I would have Rather have 11 Tudgays than one Hendo.

I agree with you on a personal level Tudders is so honest and hardworking but as a footballer Hendo wins hands down it's not even a contest. Yes I have never liked him because he is rubbish and I feel the amount of love for him is disproportional. There is hardly any rational argument you could make that could convince me he is good enough why keep a guy that has a record of 1 in 5 playing in lower leagues and selling a guy who is 1 in 4 in Henderson who has played prem and been the top scorer in the champ even cox has a far superior record and they are crap. I don't just dislike Tudders it's all of them.

Its the tracking back and headers out of the box with Marcus did today that I like , sadly these never get shown in stats but are a big part of his game and the likes of hendo never do, I agree we need alot better but as a squad guy I would be tempted to have him on the bench.

Not disputing what you've heard, but it seems odd that he started today if the decision has been made that he won't be offered a new deal.
