So there can be a swelling of moaning and frenzied outrage about it on the very best Forest forum.

Used to be on baking hot days in July, didn't they? Went to one 10 years ago with Alex W, got to have my picture taken in the players bath.

Hang on, last time this happened the manager was sacked the following Monday. Odds on Brazil getting the boot?

    PR stunt.
They need to do one in late July where you can meet all the players and have a walk around the ground properly.

Throw in some hotdogs, some balloons and one of those 'see how fast you can wack the ball' machines and make a day of it.

Admittedly, this is just a guess, but maybe it's a decision that's just been made....?

The "Open Day" used to be in preseason.

It is a bit poor, organising it on such short notice. But that's Forest for you!

Possibly to show that there is unity in the 1st team squad.
I'm sure Fawaz and his team will have picked up on the vibe that things aren't right in the dressing room.

I was chatting to Fawaz about this last night. He said No knobs allowed. I am not saying he meant you by that but think it had something to do with the timing. There is a difference between of and off.
(Buggers off from the forum for six months, no flak at all.)
Sorry, I think Fawaz can be rude and ungrateful sometimes for a man who has spent about 70 million pretending we fit the fair play guidelines. He also said that he thought Algerians were good footballers at one time but now sees them as a hopeless waste of money like Ward, Wallace and Fashanu. He regrets buying all of them.

Jim Baxter was also a hopeless drunk according to Fawaz.

If they're on or after July 1st I would assume so.

I'm sure watching forest training will come as great relief to watching them play.
