Standing looking out the window and dreaming what might have been had there been no injuries?

Looking at this bigger picture is exactly why we are in this mess!

Take your point though, it's temporary and given the situation it is relatively pointless making a change now. Guy has got a tough job on his hands to be fair.

It is what it is at the moment.

I think he talks a lot of sense - He's not great - but if he was any good at being a manager at this level he wouldnt be our youth coach would he?

Yeah really rubbish record BUT hes given young Osborn a go and has tried to change it around a bit by mixing up the formation and lets be fair he had two choices - one manage Nottingham Forest or two captain the titanic so he thought he would at least survive until May ....

plus he beats Billy 'lets play Simon Cox as the lone striker every fucking week' Davies tbh !

It's unfortunate for him that he's inherited a squad of which half are on the injury table and the other half are already on their Summer holidays.

It's poor planning that he's got to the end of season though, although I appreciate that if Pearce was always our man and couldn't be tempted to take over immediately and we sacked Billy for a specific reason which required his removal to be when it was, then ...

... it is what it is.

Well he's the only bloke at the club with the appropriate badges at this level so it was either get someone in who doesn't know the squad or let one of the coaches from the club take the reigns for 9 games. Think fawaz went for the right choice tbh.

    Hey I recognise this research.

Yep, I find it a bit odd that Fawaz, with his ambition, gave him the last nine games.

I am sure Gary Brazil is a nice bloke. I wish we had left him alone to do his job with the youth team.

We just needed to take a chance and hope we got the 'new boss bounce' with somebody for the last few games. With GB we did get one I suppose, it was that draw at Ipswich that we otherwise would have lost. One point.

With the way our season has gone I wasn't expecting great things from GB so am not overly disappointed in how things are turning out under his stewardship for the remainder of the season. As I see it, he is purely there as a hand on the tiller to get us through to the end of the campaign. I have no expectation of reaching the playoffs, let alone gaining promotion through them. The side just doesn't have the look of a team with confidence or a sense of purpose and I don't blame Brazil for this, it all started to fall apart months before. He's just the unlucky sod who's the figurehead on a rudderless ship.

I think it was a good decision by Pearce not to take over until after the end of the season. He can observe the team without any pressure of expectation of getting us into the playoffs, which would have been be the case if he'd taken the job straight away, and have time to make his own mind up about the character, abilities and shortcomings of the players and look for replacements to address any weaknesses he sees.

Voting buttons under the seats, multiple choice on the big screen:

    Sub - Yes or No?
Who shall we bring on - Cox, Gomis, Tudgay, de Vries?
Formation change - Yes or No?
Formation - 4-4-2, 4-3-3, Paul Hart diamond, Terry Venables Christmas tree?

Poor old Collins would soon get fed up of being subbed after 1 minutes every home match.

That last win was only seven games ago. He went nineteen without one before that. I think he is still good for the last five games.
