    Default Is Fawaz the issue?

    Why managers keep turning us down? Does he come across like a Vincent Tan type owner?

    No mate. Fans like you, who raise expectation levels to stupid levels and seriously think that we're in with a shout of signing managers like Guus Hiddink, are.

    That's not an insult or a dig, it's a fact.

    Default

    Warnock = knob
    Pearce = getting divorced
    O'Neill = IFA said no to approach (Keane too)
    Mackay = gardening leave
    Clarke = as above
    Zola = wants to do the job long term with a clean slate

    All adds up to nothing wrong with the club or Fawaz. Just circumstances.

    The sole cause of this problem is that Fawaz refuses to give up on this season. He'll have no problem attracting a top manager in the summer, but he's obviously struggling to attract a top manager to come in and deal with a depleted squad at the tail end of a season

    I think he should just let this season go

    It doesn't matter what we think, it's what the people we are asking think.

    I don't want to see knives stuck into Fawaz, but if he does that it's totally unacceptable, especially after SOD.

    Not in a Tan way but yes he is the problem if not people wouldn't be calling for a CEO.We are viewed as amateurish by other clubs and we need structure.On a side note those who believe Zola will join in the summer are just as deluded he has politely turned us down.

    It's not a dodge, it's reality. If we can't get them then we shouldn't be getting rid of anyone. It's utterly fucking brain dead to get rid of anything if whatever is going to replace it is far worse.

    Default Is Fawaz the issue?

    I do think Fawaz is naive. I also doubt he is not used to taking other peoples advice. He's learning the hard way, and unfortunately everytime a decision backfires I do think the media (made my thoughts clear on them enough) can't wait to get their claws in.
    We are always looking for a reason for failure. But there is only one constant since our demise from the Prem and that's us, the fans.

    If you didn't answer the question, that's a question dodge

    Everyone i've spoken to who has met Fawaz thinks he's a top, top bloke. I just think peoples perception of him might be that of a tyrant.

    He does seem to have a slightly ruthless streak. He backs up his ambition with his wallet though, so he does his part

    I don't know him so I can't say. But I do think we are quick to stereotype certain kind of people.
