    Default Neil Warnock, What a....

    Manager.

But what I would like to ask everyone is: could he be convinced to join us?

There has naturally been a lot of speculation on the forum about potential manager's who are currently unemployed (this of course makes logical sense) however, looking at manager's who presently manage clubs, I for one would love to see Neil Warnock at the helm.

I realise Neil Warnock is a bit of a Marmite conundrum (you either love him or hate him) but I feel the latter perception is generally upheld by opposition fans who subconsciously wish he was one of their own. Yes he can whine like a b*tch but at least he has passion - something previous Forest Manager's have severely lacked. We deserve a manager who has an established record at this level (if not higher) who will fight to the death and connect with the fans.

Warnock's record speaks for itself at the Blunts and now at Palace, however, I have heard unsubstantiated rumours he is unhappy at the lack of funds he has to improve the squad there. That said, he has done a great job at Palace given these constraints. Could he be persuaded to join us at the City Ground?

    Thoughts much appreciated.....

When he joined Palace he said it would probably be his last job so think it is highly doubtful that we even think about approaching him.

I reckon Warnock would love to come to Forest, I reckon he'd consider it at any rate, however we wont approach a manager like Warnock, we just won't.

I think he'd be brilliant for us too.

but I'll eat my hat if Billy Davies is not our next permenant manager.

I'd cry if he is though

Mixed feelings, I think he'd relish the challenge, and succeed.

But he's a cheat. And he'd make our players cheat. And I don't like cheats.

Warnock is a great manager, His passion is quality too.
Even if he doesd buy 10 strikers and 1 defender, he has been very good at every club He's been at.
    I would have him.

I'd honestly rather support the Sheep than have this cheating, whiney, crap talking tit at our club. No thanks!

The guy has a hell of a lot of faults and he has a style of play that he ingrains his players, you can see it in Palace. I wouldn't want this "cheating" and rough play at Forest. But having said that he'd do a bloody good job here. Doubt he'll even get approached to be honest.

    Gary Johnson......?

    Colin Wanker?

    Rearrange these words....

Season ticket my nail to a tree would I, Colin Wanker as manager if appointed was Nottingham Forest of.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Even if we won the league, it wouldn't be worth the moral price of what Warnock would bring to the club.

It is one thing the team not playing well and saying it would have Cloughie turning in his grave, having Warnock in charge, with full knowledge of what he is like, would be quite another.

I can't stomach him, and along with Venables, I would probably stop going to games if he was appointed.

hmmmmmmm, Not to sure he is as good as your making out...... It did take him 6 years to get Sheffield United promoted and then he promptly took them straight back down afterall.....

However would I take him You f**king bet, a real character and would tell Doughty and Marthur whats what, That however is the reason he will never be appointed.....

Having our players throw themselves to the ground, feign injury. verbally abuse the officials constantly, awful sportsmanship, etc.

Let alone a manager who will whinge like stink, blame everyone but himself and be rightfully, one of the most disliked figures in football.

That, for me, is a moral price.

Would you rather go to Southend away?
