He's never played a game outside League One. He won't cost much.
Its not just Davies who reads this forum opposition managers get their tips from it too. Edit that to £1M.

I'd assume we'd face stiff competition for Wells, and I'd hope we would act fast to sign him before he goes to one of the usual suspects like QPR or Reading or something.

Spot on. All our forwards have zero composure in front of goal.

They score goals but not as many as they should.

The most composed player in front of goal we have is Pato in my opinion. Not had that many chances to play or get in front of goal but he has very good technique. He scored some quite similar goals to Wells for Wallsall as well. The lad is a very good prospect.

It's true, Pato looks very composed when he gets near the opposition area. That's why I wanted to see him given a shot as a striker or playing in a free role behind the main striker because we'd have nothing to lose right now in trying that.

Yeah I'd love to see Pato up front for us, but I think Billy's problem with playing him as a striker is that he's a bit of a twig, almost the same size as Victoria Beckham, so defenders would brush him off the ball too easily.

Yes, give him a go in Radi's position with a license to attack. Reckon he is capable of bagging a few.

They may accept a bid of £2 million, but he won't be sold for that much. Pretty much all the clubs around us would jump to get him for that much , possibly even a Prem club or two like Palace. It'd kick off a bidding war.

    Default Nahki Wells

Player XY is scoring lets sign him / we should have never let him go.

So we should only be looking at players that aren't scoring? It's all getting a bit abstract for me

Of course, imagine if we had signed Ings in the summer before he'd bagged 10 in 13 or whatever

Wells has been on the radar since last years cup run, and seems like a viable purchase. Suggesting Ings and Vaughan is just silly

Calum Wilson looks far more like the type of player who would do well at a club like Forest, to me, but I would certainly take Wells also.

    Let's offer them a million.

    Or 2 million plus Miller.

Both would have probably been available pretty cheap in the summer, we like our hindsight.

Ings had shown zero sign of ability prior to this season though... it's all out of the blue. We should've been more clued up on Vaughan though, aye. Who knows, maybe we went in for him but he liked it at H'field. Endless possible scenarios

Our supporters would soon twitter abuse that out of him.

He was nearly let go in the summer after a couple of seasons not really breaking through. It was only coventry not having any players that gave him a second chance.

Can you repeat that again, but in English?
