Some good work was done this weekend. Even Pal-arse got a point. Keep it up all you lads at the bottom.

Cracking result for Sunderland. Man City are looking very dodgy away from home at the moment.

    Palace secured 3 points away.

Looks more like Derby will be hanging on to their record Premiership points haul for another season.

It is safe for another year. Two wins is all it takes. Teams can get the rest in draws.

Their record should now be well safe by 22nd March, which I trust will be pointed out to them in song.

We'd probably get a discount if we ordered the fly bys for the next few seasons too.

    Yaaaay....well done Palace!

You really don't want to go back there again do you Dierby? Just remember the pain of your last visit! Hahahahahahaha

Just Fulham (2 points needed) and Sunderland (4 points needed) to go.

At present it is Fulham 2 Villa 0, so if that score remains the same (I think there are only about 10 mins. to go) there will only be Sunderland to make up the 4 points needed.

At the beginning of the season I thought it would only be Palace who would look like threatening the record.

The Mackems should get 4 points easily. As you say Palace were the risk but no longer.

This 11 point watch is usually a pretty stress free affair. Come Christmas it's usually a case of wrapping up and thinking about next seasons watch.

Would it count if a prem league team got points deducted?

Tell you what though, if a team ever does crack the less than 11 point plan it will be someone shit like Sunderland (or probably us, although the considerable hurdle of promotion seems to make that unlikely )

It could always be Derby that break the record themselves. That notion is what is keeping me cheerful as things stand in the Championship right now.

Considering that the next lowest is 15pnts......getting only 11pnts is very impressive indeed. To beat that you would need a very serious and early season total club meltdown.....or just be called Derby County? ROTFL
