Charles Darwin could never have predicted this?

Given it's Mansfield, there must have been a cross-border dumping thing going on...

Bit mad, in less than a month, and in little more than a square mile distance between each, we have had the sex attack, the boy going missing -and then been found dead at a nearby park, and now this.

Blimey. They'll be finding intelligence next.

    And then, a virgin!

'Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings' - Salvador Dali 1904-1989

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

I was working in Mansfield yesterday. The general populous made Rhyl look posh.

You can sum up Mansfield with 3 sorts of people.

People who stop to look at themselves in a window.
People who stop to smash the window and steal whats inside.
People who stop and lick the window.

Rhyl had a superbowl and a laser quest. Got burnt down.

Had a laugh in the Sportsdirect yesterday. Rammy looking bloke in the changing rooms, camo trousers, Lank ponytail with a multi pierced girlfriend, she was stood outside harping on about wanting some hat. He got pissed off and started shouting WHEN HAVE I EVER DENIED YOU ANYTHING?

    Oh FFS.

This must be pretty shocking for the current residents: Can you imagine the police turning up at your house one day, digging up your back garden and finding two bodies?

Yeah, talk about bizarre. It feels odd that anything like this has happened in Forest Town. I grew up here and nothing untoward has really happened, it's just a semi-quiet mining village. And to say it's a stone's throw from my Dad's is strange too. Guess we'l know more once they're identified etc.

Isn't there some talk of an elderly couple that lived there and disappeared suddenly?

Yep that's what East Midlands Today were reporting - in the late 1990s apparently - then suddenly the police got a tip-off.
