It is good, sportsdevil just gets its streams from popular sports streaming sites so it will be as reliable as they are.

I tried xbmc a few months ago but I just don't like it. I much prefer using its brother Plex, much better for my needs.

I used to use XBMC on my original Xbox about 7/8 years ago.

Recently popped it on to a small PC and tried the latest version and its very good. Didnt try Sports Devil though, sorry!

Always used xbmc on the original Xbox - a good friend of mine was a Developer of the original version and he always used to let me have pre-release versions to play with.

A truly great piece of software and a fantastic advert for collaborative programming efforts.

Plex was a project that spun off from the xbmc project and it mainly focuses on simply streaming your movies, TV shows and music over your local network (or the Internet if you use a myPlex account) it does have a few apps that can stream content like xbmc but it is pretty limited. It won't do anything like what your trying to do but it's a fantastic little piece of software.

As soon as I got my original Xbox online and saw the (incredibly primitive) Xbox Live, the idea was to get XBMC put on it. Buying a 360 not long after put the kibosh on that...

As above you can do it through a Raspberry Pi, or you can get it on a hacked Apple TV

I am going to get an ACER Revo, and a remote control and just stick it next to the ps3

The Revo's are very good. My mate has his set to boot straight into XBMC whenever it is switched on, as thats all he uses it for.

As Cinavia seems to be creeping into more and more devices, XBMC is pretty much the best soloution.
