Default What ever happened to the drummer bloke in the Trent End?

Sorry if this has already been brought up but i always remember as a kid seeing a guy in the top tier of the Trent End hitting a massive drum to get the atmosphere and crowd going, this was in the mid 90's. I don't get the chance to go to as many games as before but noticed in recent years that he isn't there anymore. Anyone else remember the drummer and know why he stopped?

Let's get some trumpet players in. They can play Chelsea Dagger all throughout the match. Yay

Drums are fucking awesome if done in the right way, every match I went to in Serie B reigned far supreme to the atmosphere of the city ground

Reminds me of when my brother's class at school were asked what job they wanted to do when older, one boy simply replied 'Trent End Master'.

Seems all our neighbors have drums now. Can't say I'm that dissapointed tbh. I think English fans don't do drums, flares, etc anywhere near as well as other European countries.

    He kicked the bucket.
    He got snared.

I bracket drums in the same place as goal music, just plain annoying and not needed. Although maybe its just the way us English use them. I find for example that England band cringeworthy, having someone play the great escape every 5 seconds does not add to an atmosphere.

I mean take tomorrow night, 20 years ago the atmosphere for a game like that at wembley would have been electric, no instruments required from us English at least but you can bet your last pound the height of atmosphere tomorrow night will be half a dozen fools from Sheffield insisting on beating out the Italian Job theme

Hes probably in the cells under the brian clough stand along with the bloke who used to wear that pink coat directly behind the goal in the trent end.

Trumpets are the reason I hate watching our national side play. They annoy the shit out of me!

Definitely for more than one, I think. Rain or shine.

Used to see him when selling fanzines on Trent Bridge corner

The only time I sat in the Trent End I noticed an old guy wearing a denim jacket covered in Forest badges, is he a regular?

drums and other such things are good when orchestrated with taste, and to me that means lying low for large periods

Last season teams like Huddersfield.Bolton and Blackburn were not allowed to take their drums by Forest Stewards.
