I was happy that we'd scored a 122nd minute equalizer thunderbolt by the most unlikely person to do it on the pitch!

    Poor old County.

They're like the slightly dim brother.

And for all their bollocks about "the city is ours" it would of course be churlish to point out that Forest's City Ground was certainly in the city boundaries when we moved there - that's why it's called the "City Ground", in celebration of Nottingham being granted City status - it was only with the re-drawing of the local government map, based in part on the expansion south of the River Trent and the growth of the borough of Rushcliffe, that the area containing the City Ground (and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground) was taken out of a shrinking "City of Nottingham".

I went to Wembley to see them play Tranmere in the play off final in the 90s. There were more red shirts there than black and white (Both Forest and Liverpool fans). Even in our group of 5 that went down there were 2 Forest fans, 2 neutrals and only 1 saddie.

How can a club exist for so long and be so spectacularly unsuccessful?

Christ, the video is embarassing, shouting abuse to some oblivious Forest shirters over the road then catching a bus over lady bay FFS.

Perhaps you should have pointed out that even that 'chant' was copied from ours.

I once (in 1978 ) bought a button badge from Forbuoys newsagents in Arnold that read "Forest is best, County need a rest". Grammar aside I think its a sentiment we can all agree with. Well worth 20p.

By dozens don't they mean ALL..?

The Magpies were given an allocation of 2,864 tickets for the match

Wow, they could have 100 tickets each.

Is 2,864 the smallest section of Anfield they can segregate off for away fans?

Taylor obviously counted the people stewarding the queue to boost the numbers.

How many of us here feel just a little bit guilty laughing at them?

It's a bit like laughing at a child who forgot his lines in a school play.

Notts County are footballs equivalent of Rodney Trotter: think they know it all but will always be the 24 carat plonker.
