It puts the South Coast "Skates and Scummers" into perspective.

If Notts get taken over by the Danes, can we use the bacon connection to name them the pigs?

Along with the match-receipts going towards meeting Hardy's obligation to pay his club employees, the buckets have evidently been taken out of storage for use at the 'Hardy derby', Ilkeston v the Sadpies, this afternoon. It was only a matter of time.

Expect to see them outside of the CG before the upcoming games against Crystal Palace and Real Sociedad.

    I always liked him.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Wow. Done well to still be in the game with his style of play and seemed to often have a niggle with us way back when.

Far slower game at that level, puts far less strains on the body,

Tyson still lives in Notts, I think his daughter plays for Forest Ladies.

It would be very Notts County if they don't sign him now.

Let's be honest though, there's plenty of other clubs more likely to actually pay him.

County raised as a subject matter during Prime Minister's Questions, about financial mismanagement at football clubs.

Say this for Hardy, he's certainly increased their profile.

“May says the government is not complacent. It will hold the football authorities to account. Inquiries should be made into the suitability of owners, she says.”

You’ve hit rock bottom when even Theresa May is sticking the boot in

All well and good blaming the authorities for this one; but on paper Alan Hardy is the dream owner.

Local lad done well and made his money in the local area, and willing to invest heavily into club he 'allegedly' supports.

The reality is there is no formula for a good owner on paper, you just have to hope he isn't a massive bellend (or in Hardy's case a tiny one).

I was thinking the same. This time last year it was sunshine and unicorns over the river and their fans were patting themselves on their backs in collective smugness.

I think it had already gone downhill just before he got it out.

    Q. How do you kill Magpies?
    A. Stomp them to death with a pair of size 6 Gucci leopard print kitten heels.
