Anyone think they might struggle to stay up this year? Players leaving, crowds dwindling, rookie manager.

See they got pumped 4-2 at home today by the mighty Posh..

Posh will walk that division this season.

But yeah, probably 18 months until they break out the buckets again.

I like Notts to do well but the attitude of some of their fans is a bit cute, lets me be a bit smug when they struggle.

They're in perpetual torment from the vast shadow from the giants across the Trent.

    Forgive the poor souls.

Saw a couple in the TBI earlier. Just ignored them, as most of the people in there seemed to do.

Makeshift defence today. Small squad and relying on youngsters. Chairman not putting money in for transfers any more. Mid table would be a good effort. Peterborough will likely come back up though.

Is there a more pointless football club on the planet?

Certainly is an air of 'It should have been us' in their contempt for us.

I think there will be at least 3 teams worse than them this season which is good.

You'd think the oldest association club in the world would have had a head start over everybody else, no? In the football leagues first season they came 11th.

    There were 12 clubs initially...

What I don't get is, why on earth would any young person support County? Unless they're a masochist?

Posh should walk this division with their attack, along with Wolves. Brentford look very strong too.

My Uncle is a County fan, he has a grandson who has been banging them in for the under 8's side he plays for. If somebody scouts him, I hope it's Forest. Thinking about it, some of this probably should go into that confessions thread.

I think Notts are in for some problems this year.

Lots of inexperienced players and a total rookie of a manager.

Maybe I am in the minority here but I think it is good for the City to have two good football teams competing in good leagues so I want Notts to do well.
