    Default James Vaughan

Anyone else been impressed with him last few times we have played Huddersfield? Surprised he joined them permanently in the summer, seems to have a bit of everything pace strength and a decent finish.

He goes down to easy and stays there. Plus he is consistently moaning.

He seems to have the attributes you would expect from a striker. He's got some pace and strength and bullies defenders. Thought he did well against Collins but don't remember him getting any change out of Hobbs.

Very good player who I think could get 20 goals this season in that side, but as some suggest he goes down too easy - I thought he was made of cotton wool at one stage, when Collins 'overpowered' him.

I've always quite liked him, very injury prone as a kid though.

Surprised a better side didn't take him this summer.

From what i've seen of him he can't finish...but on FLS he has shown he can score.

When we beat them 6-1 how many chances did he waste

I`d have him in our team ahead of Derbyshire , Tudgay , Blackstock and Miller that's for sure.

You have got a very slight Forest connection there, to make it relevant. Well played Porks, well played....

tbf i forgot to write the second part of post. Wigan linked with him todsy as well. Definitley think we should go for him in jan if not sooner. Dunno if a bidding war would be good or otherwise though..

12 in 16 scored on saturday before that served a 3 match ban though. Apparantly they want 6mill for him pretty steep...

I remember seeing him playing for Everton a few years back. He got a nasty injury where you could see blood dripping from his boot. I thought "that's a bad one" Bugger me, he was back on playing a few minutes later. Liked him ever since. Would love to see him in a Forest shirt.

We'll aim for him, lose out on him, tweet about him whenever he scores.

    John Lennon's dead?!?!?!?

Presumably THAT's Billy Davies' fault too...

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Think your memory's playing tricks on you, mate. He severed an artery in his ankle that day and missed about four weeks. So much blood!

Apparently when he was thirteen, he ran 100m in 11.5 seconds. The only thing I could do in 11.5 seconds when I was thirteen was shoot my bolt while touching a girl's nash.
