    Default Maynard (again)

I have seen on the rumour sites that we are linked with Nicky Maynard again. Basically on the strength that Cardiff want to cash in after making new signings. Anyone heard anything else on him? Would we want him? Maynard and Mackie up front would mean serious pace.

I made up that rumour two days ago.

Possibly. I certainly just started quoting his name on every thread as I was bored.

Chronically injury-prone but talented as all hell, and somehow only 26!

Think they've only made one signing up front. Would be surprised if they let him go. More likely joe mason perhaps

I am sure we could squeeze another injury prone striker into the squad. On a big wage too I reckon. I wish Miller would come good but I think his is more of an attitude problem.

I love the fact this might be on a rumours site because I've been spouting speculative guff about it on every thread. #ITK

. Was entered on the rumour site today so if you put it out a couple of days ago, someone else has the same idea.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's a very good idea.

    But completely without any source.

He could add a lot to our squad, sadly it could only be a financial liability rather than on the field talent because of his injury issues.

I would love to see it happen if we could be sure his injuries are behind him.

tbh we have got a shed load of strikers. Non of them may be out and out goal scorers, but I've a feeling we might be waiting until jan or next season for one of them. We'll be free of some wages by then too

Even if we dont sign anyone up front, the current crop should be able to do something

I can't see us signing anyone soon.Derbyshire has had a good preseason but I can't see him doing it all season. Miller has attitude and injury problems(shame because he could be a beast)and Tudders is a good back up but not a first choice striker. Sex and Hendo could do well with better supply now we have wingers. Both can head a ball. If we get Wilson I can see that being it for signings and we can't complain. Not sure if the Wilson deal will come off though.

Not sure he is the player he once was, not just because of injury but could easily be wrong.

Dex has a new name due to a typing error, perfect.

How about Sex and Cox up front?

David Cameron would break out in a cold sweat!

So your line up would read

    Cox Sex

    I'm out

Tutts has done brilliantly well linking us with this player and everyone following him.

Not done much since 2009/10 (not sure if that's because of injury or being out of favour, but still...).

    No thanks.

Former target + his current club spending on alternatives + making up sources & conviction in posting = #ITK
