I like it, but having said that they can't have a real monk on, loosing a decent player to another club or having your team in the premier league for at least a season, I know which I one I would choose.

I've not seen much of this guy, I must admit. But he seems very highly rated and I like how confident he comes across in his interview. No arrogance. Just the air of pure confidence.

You don't need pace as a centre half if you have the ability to read the game well.

They're a pretty balanced lot, to be fair. Hull fans tend to remember the doldrums. They only stopped playing fourth division matches in a septic tank about ten years ago.

Just as well, they did say his pace was the one thing they were worried about him lacking in the Prem. Still, that's what Lascelles is for.

Can I just reiterate what a good signing this is? Wanted him here a few years back, always looked a real prospect and now he has a few seasons under his belt that'll be invaluable.

I still think we need one more centre half - someone of the ilk of Lynch or Wilson, who can slip in behind Hobbs or Halford and clear up through balls and be half decent on the ball.

I think when we've' got that player our defence is pretty much sorted, which then means we can try and pick another wide midfielder and a striker.

Almost there - 3 or 4 more signings to go in the next month. Things are looking a lot better than this time last year eh? Credit to SOD and Billy for both having a hand in building us from paperweights to top six contenders on a relatively small expense.

Also like the fact that we've finally going to have a bit more leadership on the park thanks to this guy

I agree with Robbie - a solid signing.

And I owe the young lad an apology for confusing him with Wayne Brown, who was the hapless slaphead who was given the runaround when we tonked Leicester 5-1 - not Hobbs!

Wayne Brown! He was awful! Good bit of backpedalling from him that day.

    Hobbs or Brown?

Anderson absolutely raped Brown that match. Best performance Ando put in wearing a Forest jersey.
