    Default Quick Question

I've just been reading on other forum and wonder why people slag perch of so much. I don't think he's ever going to set the world on fire but I think he does his job well even though calderwood keeps changing what his job is. Also he's the one player who if he loses the ball chases it back down unlike wilson who stands there and moods.

You'll find quite a few Perch "fans" on this site

    * as in people who appreciate his contribution and can forgive him a couple of disappointing displays

It's all to do with Forest fans, and the majority of them being unable to understand the true nature of the holding role :P

Perchy is a good honest pro, strong in the tackle and willing to graft.

    I'd pick him every week.

It's more to do with us all being scared that Oscar could kill us, and he likes to pretend that he is Perchinhios dad.

    Talk to me, Goose.

So which 2 would you leave out regarding McGugan, Moussi and Cohen?

If that was the case, he wouldn't 'go missing' in games. He's a good utility player

I do at times wish he would not get the red mist in tackles at times .
    True though , a good honest 100% player .
Mrs Perch (Kirsten) would be proud of these posts .

I think he would be a good contender for CB role alongside Morgan. Strong in the air good tackler of the ball and it's his natural position.

Perch is worthy of his place in the starting 11, whilst he may not be technically as good as other players he is honest and comitted which are qualities which will help us get out of trouble.

Bennett, Perch and Chambers are all naturally Centre Half's as far as I'm aware.

I'd agree with that. He'd make a good pairing and also allow Moussi, Cohen, Anderson and McGugan to play the midfield roles.
