Just saw it on Paul Taylor's twitter.

Available on a free from Wolves.

He's a good 'keeper, made a huge balls up leaving Swansea on a free to Wolves. But no doubting his ability.

Would personally prefer to keep Darlow as No.1. If we were to sign De Vries then we'd have to let Darlow out on loan, we can't give him that exposure, see he is capable, then just put him back on the bench.

I think, if he does sign, Darlow will stay as number one however De Vries will take his place if his form drops.

Evtimov would definitely be going on loan then I guess along with Rashidi

Hopefully competition for Darlow, unless he's being sold...
    Not looking good for AlRashidi.

I obviously have very little to go off with Al-Rashidi, but from warm-ups before games, he doesn't look at the same level as Evtimov, let alone Darlow. Just the simple things like the kicking practices, they're stroking the ball around for fun, without the other player needing to move, and they're running all about the shop to collect Al-Rashidi's.

Hopefully he can go out on loan next year, play some football and we'll be able to make a sound judgement.

I've always liked this guy, very good competition for Darlow. I'd still like to see Karl start the season as the first choice keeper.

    I'm in.

DdV hasn't hardly played at Wolves so he's not coming here as some big time Charlie expecting to be #1. I hope Darlow starts the first game and never puts a foot wrong or gets injured. But DdV is a decent keeper at this level and Darlow seems like the sort to thrive off a little completion.

Was great at Swansea and at 32 I think he could still do a job. And experience in a keeper is vital

Here he is claiming a high ball.

If we sign him as competition for Darlow (with Darlow starting the season as No.1), then great. If we sign him as a direct replacement for Darlow (De Vries going straight into the starting XI) then no thanks.

If Paul Taylor said we are signing him, then I think its safe to say he won't be coming to Forest anyway.

Would be good if we're signing him as cover.

    Default Dorus De Vries

Nottingham Post and various other sources claiming we're in talks with him (GK from Wolves). Possible free transfer:

Don't know a lot about him - think he was in Swansea's promotion side. Still think Darlow is a more than capable no.1, but this guy might provide a bit of experience. Not the most important position to fill however atm...

    Thoughts?

Good move, We need an "experienced head" back there to support and deputize for Darlow. The kid will have a rough patch at some point, and throwing in a decent keeper while he sorts his head out will be instrumental in Darlow's ascendance.

His name most likely isn't Dorun, unless he is a character in a computer game.

Capable deputy but only that. It would be criminal to slow Darlow's progress by sticking him behind this jobber.

Good Keeper but this would move 'The Greatest Goalkeeper in the World who also happens to be from Kuwait' even further down the pecking order.

    Will Fawaz want this?
