To be fair he's not featured all season for a league 1 club.

    Welsh football isn't that bad.

If he plays for Forest regularly he'll be back, he's good enough.

He'll easy make the grade if he gets back in at the CG. I had massive hopes for him and still do in honesty. Its just the sick note stuff. Saying that he did get fit quite a while before the end of season run in but didn't get much of a look in.

Davies, on his day, can be such an immensely good player. The problem hes had this past season is that hes been injured. The season before his reviews showed that he was very inconsistent. Lets hope he can improve both of these next season!

Whoever went to crewe away will know how poor davies is. Yes on his day he could rip league 1 to shreads! But thats what people are saying about commons. So how come people are happy to see commons go but are glad we have davies in the team for his good game out of 8?

Never seen Davies have a solid run in the side; which I have several times from Commons; I'm not convinced by Davies at all, but can be patient with him for now..

Whilst there is a chance Davies might come good now Commons has buggered off I'd rather sign a good replacement for Commons rather than taking a risk which, at the moment, doesn't look likely to immediately come off.

Nobody should be writing Davies off... That's just stupid!

He never got a full pre-season under his belt when he joined us and that, to me, is the main reason he struggled so much, as he was that far behind everyone else in terms of fitness.

Hopefully he can get that full pre-season this summer and we can get a good look at him, with a decent run in the side.

Then we can make our accusations! :P

Well we all forgot how consistent Commons was. Cough cough....

As for Davies, i'll reserve judgement until he has a prolonged chance in the team. I think the importance of a full pre season for him should not be under estimated.

That's one game where he was judged and was his first start in a fair few games.
He was exellent agaisnt Oldham/Tranmere in his first game for us.

Two comparisons which suggest he may well be inconsitent, but he may be the player that when he has better players around him, he plays better. For an inconsitent player with one good game to his name this season he certainly shouldn't be in the Wales squad, therefore my suggestion is that he may not be as poor as some people think.
