    Default Leeds

Just been out in leeds tonight and have seen both of wes morgan and kelvin wilson in a club. I know lance saw nathan tyson in oceana in leeds tonight, is that the right attitude when we are scrapping for survival in the championship?

Players "gerrin' larruped" and partying at inappropriate times has been a regular feature of the game since as long as I can remember. Unfortunately many of the players are "none too bright" and also young. (we've all been there! - grin) However (unlike us at that age) they have disposable income, they think they are celebs; and further the managers can't spank them anymore.
Let them just get on with it - But I wonder in 20 years time if Messrs Wilson, Morgan & Tyson will have ever lifted a trophy, played in a Final, or even be remembered by Forest fans?

Darryl Powell used to go clubbing. He used to make potted beef sandwiches for all the players after a game, This was to soak up the alcohol. Then the entire squad would go to the Casino in Scarborough and fist fight with a pack of lesbians. It was regular training at Forest under Kinnear. It built character.

Went out in Nottingham the other night, as we left the restuarant, we bumped into a group of 4/5 coloured lads, they were not drunk, aggressive or threatening in any manner what so ever....................The tall one at the front even held the door open for Mrs Sedge and acknowledged her thanks with a smile, the lad was Calvin Wilson, now there must be a way that this type of disgusting behaviour can be portrayed on the forum with a hint to something darker than being well mannered.

They are entitled to a life beyond your work.

OK let's say that I work for a company that is almost financially bust and I need to work as hard as I can to keep it going.

Does that mean I have to stay in doors and not have a life just because of my job. I know that football means that players are constantly under the spotlight but that doesn't mean they have to not enjoy themselves every now and then.

I would just consider it encouraging that members of the team are going out together. It shows that there is some sort of team spirit there.

I'd rather them be out letting their hair down after a game than just before one.

I don't see any problem with players going out on a Saturday after a game, especially when there's no midweek fixture.

Who's that in the white tie?

I didn't go in Oceana you jeb-end (Nor do I condone doing so), I saw him outside Oceana and shouted his name, as you do. He was pretty sound, smiling, said hello asked if I was alright and all that - he seemed quite happy at getting spotted.

And, as for someone having alcohol.. there's nothing wrong with it at all.

Even if we're in a relegation scrap or not, I don't mind the players going out the odd weekend having a drink, not that my opinion on it really matters.

Obviously a pissed up post from young Macca.

You are correct there Lance. I really dont mind them going out and getting snookered every now and then. I was just annoyed at another game without a win and the fact that i was extremely drunk, i didnt even remember starting the topic until i read it again this morning!
