Thread: Calderwoods Hearts?

    Default Calderwoods Hearts?

Don't know if its been said before, just saw a report linking Calderwood with the Hearts job, wondering if this had any substance at all, and if it was actually likely to happen? Because i doubt Romanov would plump for someone like him.

It was definately Colin Calderwood, said he was an outside shot.
I think it was on the website of a paper called the Herald, i'll try and find a link.
Or theres something talking about it there...

Not a chance. Why leave Forest for a Scottish side? Only Rangers or Celtic are worth even considering.

    More money?

Because Hearts are better than us?

Those are too pretty good reasons I can think of.

Why would anyone go to Hearts? Romanov's an interfering idiot.

Well let's put it this way, if Forest played Hearts tomorrow and both teams were really going for it, I know who I'd put my money on, and it certainly wouldn't be Forest.

Scottish football's barely a step on from monkey tennis; aside from the old firm, I reckon we could 'ave 'em!

We need to organise this match so we can have a wager!

You call Romanov, I'll call Doughty!

More money? Maybe, for 6 months anyway until he gets the sack.

Hearts are better? Not bloody likely. This is the same Hearts that finished 8th in the SPL, 41 points behind Celtic and even behind Falkirk! Half of the teams in that league would be mid-table fodder in league 1.

Add to that playing in front of 10-15,000 people every other week and getting dobbed by the old firm I would say its not very enticing at all.

Don't take it! Hearts may be our only tool for getting rid of Clownderwood! He can't join them if you're there!

Why can't he take the Chief safety Officer's job?

Your last sentance reads like Yoda.
As for your appraisal of CC, that's what most of us have thought since he arrived but I think he'll last longer than that and wouldn't be surprised if he stayed all season.

Calderwood's earned a chance in the Championship; but patience will be quite thin - most of us haven't forgotten how awful we were for so much of the season! I still can't believe we got promoted!

    We shall see

We were promoted automatically as our manager said we would be, from the start. *Calderwood will also get us into the playoffs next season. De4spite appearing to be rubbish, it's his trick. *He does it every year. *I feel we will get revenge in a playoff final at Wembley against Sheff Utd. *We will then storm the Premiership the year after.

We have all questioned Calderwoods managerial decisions over the last couple of seasons yet he can take full credit for achieving what most of us had deemed impossible.

Now he seems to be bringing in a few round pegs so the jury's still out concerning his ability to drive and motivate the team and deliver results. For the moment, he has our backing but a few dodgy results will see a similar reaction to what was experienced shortly after Christmas.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.
