    Default Forest Fans

Can i just say that Forest fans on here are a credit to the club, i live in Nottingham and know supposed 'fans' who never go to games, and are deluded, i came on here expecting to see more of the same, but i've been pleasantly surprised

Better than the Leeds forum, that's for sure! I don't know what planet they're actually on

I was looking at what players they thought they were going to get, only browsing like, and they've got this deluded attitude that they've got millions to spend on premiership players

Whayyyy . A good review of our grammer forum.
Yes there is decent people on here not like some other "forest forums" and we do go to games.
Hopefully a few more away games this year if the finances are in order.

Welcome Belle, I felt very sad for Ken Bates when your boys beat them at Wembley. Good luck for the new season except when you play us. * Like all the decent non deluded Leeds fans agreed, you fully deserved to win.

Sorry yeah, I just read in football banter you were a Rovers fan. Just when you mentioned Forest fans and all that I assumed you were one. Head is not with me today. Welcome

    Welcome Belle, and thanks

I was chuffed as hell that Donny got up through the playoffs.. I've a few Donny supporting mates, not to mention a Forest fan who married a Doncaster fan on the day of our automatic promotion (obviously not 'proper' fans as such, as they clearly weren't at the games), but the wedding reception apparently was quite a tense affair, with the grooms family all chuffed as hell and the brides family all gutted lol

I was at Cheltenham myself, and i had a bad feeling that morning that something was going to go wrong In the end though, i'm glad that we lost there, because then i got the added bonus of going to Southend for the weekend, drubbing Southend at home and then beating the sc*m at Wembley!

They turned up thinking they'd already got it won, i presume they thought they were going to pick the trophy up

I went to the playoff final between Palace and West Ham (long story!) and the Hammers fans were exactly the same; weren't quite so gracious at the end. Before the game it was "Yeah, awight me old cockney sparra, thanks for caming and may-king *** nambas ap".. after the game, quite threatening.

I was certainly pleased that Palace won

I've posted on a couple of other Forest forums but I would say that this one is by far the best. The majority of posters on here seem to be very open minded, have a sense of humour, and are less likely to threaten to beat each other up.

Belle, do you reckon Doncaster will stay up next season? Donny have had such an inspiring few years of success it would be a real shame to see that spoiled by relegation.

i don't think that we will get relegated, having been to most home and away games this season, i think that we play much better football than people expect from us!

Our problem was that we beat all the best teams, and lost to the lower table teams, because we like to play proper football wheras they like to lob it, and we lose it completely.

I'd like to think that we can finish mid table, i think there are far worse teams in the league than us, but i always knew we'd be one of the favourites to go down just because of who we are sadly!

and as for the WACCOE forum, i've never seen such crap in my life tbh, they say it's unjust and all that, but you look at Doncaster 10 years ago, we were down and out with no hope, so the Championship isn't bad 10 years later

Donny's is proving to be a model that many football clubs will be seeking to emulate in the next few seasons.. it's a great story of triumph over adversity!
