That's me! Since I've had a cataract problem and unable to drive, I've worn the floor in the passenger side.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

Just picked a ton of cherries off our trees, Geordie is gonna make us a cherry pie. Some we'll freeze, the rest I'll give away to the folks on our lane.

Hmm, a three and a half hour road trip for cherries? It’s tempting!

Spent the afternoon reorganising my sheds, it’s improved things but christ I’ve accumulated some Bike stuff over the last year. Found things in there I forgotten I’d even bought.

We always moaned at our Nige for chewing his bed but looking at how perfect a fit this nest is I'm not so sure that we picked out the right culprit.

We got about two bucket loads from our trees last week. We've been on a cherry diet to the point where I won't want to see another one this year!

They're lovely fresh from the tree.

I've just gone to use an old USB-flash-drive...

I'v got to share a folder of files (just short of 2GB) with someone... and we've been struggling to share them via onedrive and dropbox - the receiver is a bit of a technophobe and I can't be arsed with the support issues.

I thought about a DVD, but their laptop doesn't have a drive.

OK, I'll put them on USB-flash-drive... I've got a draw full of old ones.

First one I get out to check, its 32Mb !

    Next one is 256Mb!

Most were between 16Mb and 64Mb. They are literally a waste of space - there are 10s of them.

Took ages to find one that was 2Gb.

Upload to Dropbox or Google drive or similar?

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

You could use a file sending utility like WeSendit.
There is a free to use option.
I use it regularly and it is really good.

+1 for this. I've used WeSendit a fair bit and it's always been quick and easy.

I only listed onedrive and dropbox, but I also tried WeTransfer and direct link from our Azure storage bucket.

The receiver, a family member, just isn't technical and is just as likely to turn the computer off while waiting for a large download on their cheapest possible broadband service they could have bought

helping them is a nightmare - them "I don't think my phone is working", me "what are you using to talk to me?", them "my phone", etc

so thanks for all your suggestions, it's more than appreciated
