Ive got a whole host of tales where ive had the opportunity to bag the girl i wanted but didnt take that chance.... ive even had a couple in bed and done what i felt was the honest thing....(one even went home wearing my France euro 92 shirt never to be seen again) and i still now ponder "what if," but even with hindsight id still probably make the same decision now as i did back then.
A plump bird (as differentiated from a great big obese lump of lard ) will age far better than a skinny bird.
As they age skinnies look raddled and haggard.
The current Mrs S is "Rubenesque", and is ageing nicely.

I was in Foremans, having a beer, and I got a text from someone I didn’t particularly care for, „we are in Langtrys, are you coming for a pint?“

Against my better judgement I wandered down the road and found a group of folk, some I knew, some I didn’t. It wasn’t really my thing (too many people a bit up themselves). One rather attractive young blonde lady on the edge of the group didn’t seem to be enjoying herself either.

So I wandered over and mumbled something like „are you as bored as I am? Let’s go somewhere else“.

    15 years later...

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Yeah, that one sounds familiar as well

One girl once said 'do I need to spell it out to you'? I think I was still oblivious to what was going on even at that point.

Did you go straight back to Foreman’s & treat her to some Clash & Sex Pistols?

I honestly appreciate all it of it guys, we’ll see what I could do. Being alone during Christmas is a bit bollocks. I’ll try to be myself, and enjoy it as well. The only time I’ve gone up to a female and acted myself and just had plain old fun, I bagged her. But, that was a plump chick (which I like hah).
Google the Lyrics of "Homely Girl" by the Chi-lites.

Well, it is a truism that girls have it easier than blokes.
A bloke meets a girl and doesn't know if he will get lucky.
The girl always knows whether or not he will.
N.B.: this does exclude rapists and male clairvoyants.

Spent the night stomping around Derby taking the piss out of the Derby fans.

    Duck me they bite easily.

I might be biased but the general consensus is that Forest will win 2-1

Think maybe second date with my wife, we left a bar near her flat. I thought if I walked her to her door, it might just look like I was after something. So thinking it was the right thing to do, I just sort of said bye and jumped on the bus. She said afterwards she thought I was a bit of dick. But it worked out.

This disappoints me somewhat Francis. I had this vision of you telling her Hereford United's statistics from the 83/84 season and she said shut up and kissed you.

Just for God‘s sake don’t get him started on the geography of South-East London.

If he ever goes on Mastermind, it’ll be his specialist subject.

Your browser is incorrectly parsing the ASCII codes for the „quote“ marks and rendering them as their plain-text versions.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it on again?

All those amps clearly belong in the guitar thread
