All that's needed at the end of that statement is #COYR.

“We will return Nottingham Forest to its former glory.”

Says the right things, does our Fawaz.

Disappointments of the last six months? Surely he means last 6 weeks?

This is the key part for me:

“The challenge is bigger than I envisaged when we purchased the Club last summer but I will do everything I can to bring success and happiness back to the followers of Nottingham Forest."

I think that's the first time I've seen him admit he's bitten off more than he could originally chew.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Don't think he realised what a pit of vipers the City Ground was.

Indeed he talks as if Sean's time here was as much a disaster as the past few weeks? He can't seriously still believe that?

He makes it sound like it wasn't his own stupid goddamn fault.

I fear he's on his very very last chance. His next move needs to work or he'll never win the fans back.

    Oh well.
At least he admits that they are finding more difficult than they envisaged. I can fully believe that.
Please take advise Fawaz. You cannot do this without appointing someone with knowledge of our league, players and football in this country in general.

I'm glad he's admitted it Chris.

@NickKehoeTV: Fawaz - thanks for rescuing #Forest but learn from mistakes. Appoint a manager, let him manage team while you concentrate on business.#nffc

As far as I can see, he has made just one big one, and that was replacing SOD with AMc, and he has at least owned up to that. Everthing else was right, include removing FC. He just neds a good PR man.

'We have had to make some difficult decisions and have had many issues to resolve' - self inflicted

'The challenge is bigger than I envisaged when we purchased the Club last summer' - English 2nd division football not as easy as he thought

'We will return Nottingham Forest to its former glory' - FFS more stupid promises! id just like 'we will return to Nottingham Forest some stability' at the moment please!

A very positive statement. Now back it up with the right managerial appointment and let him bring a couple of loanees.

    Maybe he needs sectioning.

I think we all will if he carries on with this multi pile up of a car crash.

'Fawaz visited the club's training base earlier today (with a sack of balls and a stack of cones) and spoke to the players after watching them in training.'

On a more positive side. I'm glad he's communicating more via official statements now than Twitter posts.
