„30 years of hurt“ etc etc.

Fuck them. Much as I like Klopp, I hope they blow it again.

And because they get the most penalties

Best teams tend to get the most penalties. And the most goals. More points, more trophies, that kind of thing.

Yeah I know but there’s no way I’ll be giving the Scouse bastards any credit, hopefully Man City will pull it back & I won’t have to be subjected to a media wankfest over Liverpool winning the league

It's hard to feel anything about the PL title race, but if I must then like last year I'd rather Liverpool win it and it upset Man Utd fans a bit more.

    Who gives a shit!

Until Forest are in the Premier League, it has absolutely no bearing on my life.

Let Grieverpool win it this season.

Perhaps by the time we get there and can rival Leicester as a team that upsets the apple cart the Scouse ***** and their far too adoring media mates may have moved on from whingeing and moaning about every travesty that has beset them.

They are slightly overhyping Sean Dyche’s 0 appearances for us there.

Probably dishing out some home truths to the molly-coddled, overpaid young 'uns.

In reality I doubt we'll ever know, but in this day and age where every utterance can be used by someone to gain an advantage over someone else, it'll probably be a storm in a teacup.

You seriously can't do anything these days without someone holding a grievance against you.

It makes me laugh reading debate on the Brexit thread about limiting employees rights, when employers can now get shafted for the minutest of things.

    The world has gone mad.

    Soon be a non-contact sport.

Looking at some of the ridiculous dives in and around the penalty area, it already is.

I was just thinking along the same lines regarding bonfire night. The stuff we used to do and enjoy without setting the world on fire or injuring any third parties is now banned by "elf and safety". So we just stand like deaf mutes watching others set off fireworks and then go home like good , well-behaved citizens. No wonder Hallowe'en has taken over, at least you can do something for yourself on that night.

That Onel Hernandez looks a threat. He scored two in our capitulation at Carrot Road last season.

Norwich went up with a dodgy defence, and now they can't score. Not a great combo.

Lots of heads in hands, frustrated pointing and rueful looks. Going down.

As long as they get 12 points all is well.

Also why has Sky suddenly taken to showing the Scouse pre-match dirge in full before kick off these days? They used to spare us the nausea by cutting to adverts but not in the last 3-4 games I've seen.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

I switched over it was Livingston v Rangers, saw Gerrard's Scouse mug, so I've turned the telly off.
