I don't think pundits do try and pretend Man U aren't any more boring than they are. They've been copping flak for it all season.

To be fair, we're hardly the most dynamic, attacking, free-scoring side at the moment either, are we?

True, but then we don't claim to be the best club in the world either.

Just got in from work (on a fucking Sunday FFS) switched it on as I had a drink and I think being at work was more appealing than watching this

You'd have been better off watching the paint dry on them doors you painted the other week.

It was that shit, I've turned it off and gone for a walk.

I'm not watching it, but as I don't want either club to do well, a boring nil-nil is the ideal result as far as I'm concerned.

It's the kind of game you want both teams to lose.

Whenever these two play it makes me disappointed they they both can't. Goalless draw is the next best thing.

It's about as enjoyable as being fisted by Captain Hook.

But the Scousers getting beat at home by their most hated rivals leaving them behind the likes of Palace and Stoke won't exactly leave me devastated.

I'm a bit torn as I do like Jürgen Klopp.

Maybe I've spent too much time in Germany, but seeing him coaching the scousers is like watching one of your best mates hook up with the skankiest, mankiest, pox-ridden slapper who's been ridden like a moped by the entire town.

Let's be honest, blowing up large chunks of Liverpool would be a massive improvement.

Liverpool - the only place where a suicide bomber wouldn't be caught dead.

Fuck the Scouse. Painful to see Utd get three points but if that means the Scouse spend another season out of Europe and falling behind it's a price worth paying.

If you think that game was bad, I've just watched Stoke v The Gooners. It was fun just waiting for the next poor pass or blatant trip that the ref ignored, probably in the interests of keeping the game flowing. Oh yeah.

It was indeed another great advert for the greatest league in the world.

Neither United or Liverpool deserved to win, a poor game and a shell of the big event the fixture once was. A few years ago it was the big guns of the Premier League clashing like Ronaldo, Torres, Gerrard, Keane..looking at todays fixture was poor.

That is a panic-purchase if ever there were one.

    If he's worth £8.5m, a match-fit Britt Assombalonga is worth £10m.

Britt will be worth that when he's scored plenty of Premiership goals and played at international level like Naismith has.

The new PL tv deal beginning later this year is worth £81m a season to each club before they even start making income from other sources. Expect even more desperation in the next few months a) from clubs trying to stay in the PL, and b) from Championship clubs trying to get there.

Exactly, if he comes in and scores or creates 5 goals between now and the of the season that will probably keep them up and that 8 million is chump change
