Gavin Wilkinson has revealed that the club is after two former MLS players. Nottingham Forest striker Robbie Findley, formerly of the LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake, and Tigres UANL defender Jonathan Bornstein, previously with Chivas USA, have emerged on the Timbers’ radar.

I feel sorry for the lad, not really had a chance to fit in, but few tenners should do it!

I don't think we should pay someone more than £100k to take him off our hands.

Aye, as long as it doesn't cost us too much anything is grand.

It's best for all concerned he goes, and as soon as possible.

He was featured on the Forest video advent calendar the other day. Previous players had chosen goals or great saves. Findley selected when he came on as a sub to make his debut.

    It's been downhill since then.

    Swap deal for Darlington Nagbe.

Apparently he's a decent young winger.

Whatever we can get really, but if any fee is going to stand in the way of letting him go back to the US, we should just release him. Feel sorry for the bloke. It's really not worked out for him here.

That did make me feel very sorry for him! In all fairness to him he's scored a few and looked good in the odd game. Sadly getting into the team we now have is going to be difficult for a striker that was doing OK before (you see that with Blackstock) that one moment against Leicester I think has just ruined him. It's like Carson after his howler against Croatia.. he was a good keeper and it just ruined his career.

    We should demand £1.5m.

We should settle for them paying the air fare.

    And even then that's negotiable.

    Whatever they're prepared to pay.
It's a shame it didn't work out for him here.

I think that said it all about poor ol' Robbie. Best if we just right it off as a bad move for everybody

In an alternate universe, Robbie is banging in the goals under the stewardship of a wee scottish guy

Isn't the manager of Portland Timbers a rather close personal relative of the Scottish Manager?

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Who says we should demand? Begging would work too.

Shame it hasn't worked for us though, going back to the US will do him some good.
