    Default Moloney

Recalled from his loan spell at Rushden and Diamonds today - http://www.nottinghamforest.premiumt...469028,00.html

Has CC finally decided to give the young man a go? We've tried Heath who has had mixed fortunes - can we afford to blood another youngster in our current plight?

Moloney isn't a left back, so won't be taking Heath's place.

He is a right back, though.

If colin plays him at rb I will pick up my tent and move to the CC in camp.

Not 'CC in Camp', that's an entirely different film.

    Talk to me, Goose.

Yeah I realise that. My point was that Heath has had good games but also poor games, as you'd expect from an inexperienced youngster. Assuming we could expect the same from Moloney (at right back) would it be a chance worth taking?

Probably yes in my book, given the poor defensive displays we've been subject to lately.

    Chambers has been terrible there.

Maybe Chambers is moving into the middle and Moloney is coming in.

    Personally, I'd like to see:

    Moloney Morgan Breckin Psycho Bennett/Heath

This is great news. After four months of not having a right back, we have discovered that we'd sent the only one at the club on loan somewhere. Now that we have found Moloney, we'll be in the Champions League in no time.

Unless CC wants to take him to Swindon with him...

Fuck it, it's worth a go isn't it? Nothing else has worked.

Think that says a lot about our plight.

The reserves have looked a little low on numbers.

Little known fact - Brendan was actually a silent partner in the chart bothering disco act Phats & Small & Moloney.

I thought that was common knowledge.

Vanessa Feltz threw herself at Moloney first, as the irony of banging Phatts was too much.

Moloney's introduction will produce the same change of fortunes for Calderwood that Gareth Edds had for David Platt.

Whilst* it would be unrealistic and somewhat harsh to place the prospect of 'saving' a season on the likes of Moloney, Heath and Thornhill, the one thing I take great solace in at the moment, is the fact that Calderwood can still see the long-term picture for this club and by giving our young players much needed experience is actually making us more likely to succeed in the long-term.

Let's face it, how many managers in his position would have rushed out and bought fading ex-Premiership 'stars' who would have fared no better?

Plus...he's just like a new signing!

That signing was made pre-season, and none of us expected to be in this bad a situation, did we?

Nicky Eaden. I'd forgotten about him. He's best to stay their really.
