They tried selling him to QPR and it fell through because of his knee injury (he's abit like Ledley apparently) AVB doesnt want him and rumours are rife QPR may go for another bid (less money of course) in Jan. Cannot see why he wouldnt be allowed to come back on the short term. If they were desperate to keep him they wouldnt have tried to have got rid of him.

If Spurs were looking to sell him, then loaning him out would be totally the wrong thing to do, as players are only allowed to play for 2 different clubs in any given season, so if he had a few games here, and then they sold him to QPR in January, he wouldn't be eligible to play untill next season, and QPR are hardly going to fork out for a player that can't play for them for 7 months.

Just another thought - I think Karlton Watson has been playing with the Nike Academy side; not sure what contractural basis (if any) is involved there?

Karlton is at the Nike academy at the moment, I really, really hope he can train on to get to the levels he was set for prior to his injury, he was considered a better prospect than Jamelle at the time of his injury.

I'm not sure why, but I have a big soft spot for this lad and really hope he makes it, preferably with us.
