Can anyone answer me why we sing i/we hate Derby county we hate Sheffield united and leicester too (their shit) when most of us dont actually despise Leicester?? Its one of the songs i dont join in to as it aint true and it kind of plays up to their insistence that they register on our football radar.......Infact the only thing i dont like about them is their insistence that i as a Forest fan hate them.....I dont...... ive been all over the country clubbing, on nights out stag do's etc and stuff in my younger days, ive mates from uni all over the place that i have visted for nights out and then theres following the mighty reds and staying over night to enjoy the city....... i consider myself well travelled but i can honestly say ive never been to Leicester...... i couldn't even tell you whats there to say its a shit hole other than one of mates telling me in some parts they have road signs in different languages thats all i know about Leicester...infact ive been thinking of going this year just so i can see what all the fuss is about.......... i was looking at clips on you tube the other day and there was a comment on one from a Leicester fan saying something along the lines of "4-0, now you can stop singing about the 5-1 you f**cing wa*kers" ?? i remember us singing "5-1 on your big day out" at the game taking the piss but thats it plus winning 4-0 against a team that should by all rights have gone down as we didnt score for weeks aint exactly a massive achievement is it.....I live in Eastwood which is obviously nowhere near the Leicestershire border.......i only despise three teams, the sheep shagging bas****s down the road (obvious) Sheffield United (play off final defeat and fighting with there youth team in a football tournament, bunch of pricks) and Scousepool (the original plastics).......... in fact on a good day i think i could be in Meadowhall as quick as i could be in Leicester.......

I used to sit in the junior reds when i was 8 till i was 15 and there was a kid who looked like sloth from the goonies love child that on his own used to sing "we hate derby, we hate Leicester" constantly all game....... im not sure he was all there....... i had to ask my dad why this kid sang this as Leicester were a second division club and had been for years......

Why do people like BGLF come on here trying to make us hate them? in fact i think i feel more hatred for Barnsley calling us scab bastards seeing as my old mans a miner and scabbed like fuck to pay his mortgage off early but then again didnt do him any harm scabbing did it.......

As a Forest fan living in Leicester, I must say all the Leicester fans un-reciprocated hatred towards me football-wise is most dull. They just don't accept that Forest fans don't really care about them.

If Leicester sign Blackstock, so be it. We've got three very good strikers and Dexter may well be the most rounded of them. However, he is out of contract, and if he doesn't want to sign a new one, we sell him. I wasn't bothered when we sold Wes Morgan to them, and the proof is in where we are now - we have only got better since selling him. I am confident that we will get better if we sell Dexter Blackstock. Now, if it was Chris Cohen being linked with Leicester, there'd be tears and anguish, but thankfully, that's all sorted out and the messiah is staying home.

EDIT: Just realised we're playing you soon. Only usually check the next couple fixtures ahead and look out for the Derby games at the start of the season. Because they're our rivals.
