Understand the ref had no choice but to send Rose off. Otherwise you empower players to do what Rose did, and someone will end up dead. It is for the player's own protection.

Now, concerning Serbia, next to nothing will happen, but much should. An awful lot of nasty shit happens in eastern Europe. Look at the garbage in Russia, the monkey chants and all that. And I can say, locally, eastern europeans tend to be VERY difficult to deal with on the field. And I have good friends who are Serb.

They are a different sort, for sure. When I used to play, the local Serb team had guys who wouldn't wash their jersey all season. So by match three they absolutely reeked, and touch marking was, to put it mildly, a very umpleasant experience. There is a win at all costs mentality, and I am sure living in a war torn region for years doesn't make poeple placid, does it?

At some point UEFA have to get their head out of their ass and acknowledge this shit is completely unacceptable.
