Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

There seems to be a bit of a witchhunt against Lee Camp because Swansea may have put in a bid for him 15/16 months ago and he may have been unhappy at the club following the massive fuck up that summer but i don't see why that should be held against him now even if it is true.

I'm sure that as an experienced proffessional he hasn't been sulking ever since and letting it affect his performences as i think has been suggested on here, i think he like just about everybody else at the club had a pretty poor season last year when comparing his form to the two previous seasons when he was excellent.

He does come across as a bit of an arrogant twat but i'm not too bothered by that or if he's a nice bloke or not, an in-form Lee Camp is a decent keeper at this level but if a better keeper is available and within budget then we should go for it if that's what SOD wants.

The most difficult and unwelcoming Present Forest player I have met was Blackstock. He was on our table for the players of the year awards and he was very hard to talk to and he just turned his back on the table and played on his phone all night. But I can see where people are coming from regarding how welcoming Lee Camp is.

I really wish we'd stop basing whether a player or manager is good enough for the club on their personalities and "likeability", who gives a shit? Yes we want them to represent us well, but that's a bonus and being better at their job is all that really matters unless they are club captain - and even then it only matters a tad more, so long as they don't do owt daft such as slate the fans.

I've met Dex, he was sound as a bell, proper decent bloke. Regardless it's irrelevant to the job they do on the pitch for us.

Its funny how McGoldrick is hated so much. I despise him because of his performances, not because I dont't like him as a human. He's a very likeable lad and can hold a conversation with fans for more than 10 seconds.

I relate speaking to Dex and Camp the same as talking to my 98 year old Nanar. I feel that maybe Dex suffers with abit of anxiety, if you saw Soccer AM for example, you will know what I mean. Camp on the other hand is just an arrogant sod.

The rest of the squad that ive met are all genuine nice chaps. Even McGugan.

I don't dislike Dex I'm just saying he was a bit ignorant but having said that our legend Stuart Pearce ignored me when I asked "what do you think the score will be today Stuart" when Forest played Derby at Pride Park but I don't dislike him just for ignoring me.

You make a great point there mate, it's just some fans seem overly-eager to criticize our good players for irrelevant things.

Anyone who's read Clough's autobiography will remember when Pearce found himself more "injured" then usual in our relegation season as things stalled over new contract talks (due to him wanting more money as a result of him landing the England captaincy). Some would argue (I think even Clough states) that Pearce's absence from the side was a massive contribution to our relegation that year, yet people still hold him in the highest regard but jump on Camp's back for not accepting the first contract we've offered him even though, unlike Pearce, he plays every game and is actually finding form.

It's daft and we lose players such as McKenna because some of our fans seem to think we're an established Premiership side who can afford to discard good Championship players - we can't and just because we've a bit more cash doesn't mean we want to be tossing aside the quality we do have.

Who are these fans and why don't I have this power?

    I bet it's the clique!

You do and you exercise it most days on here. You only have to look at Mr O Driscol's appointment as an example of how closely the club now pays attention to what fans think.

Surely you don't think that opinions on a players/management don't get noticed by the club?

Probably the least twisted image you've ever posted to be fair. From you I'd at least have expected those fingers to have been cocks.

He needs the arrogance to make him a better keeper. If he signs, good. If he doesn't, I'd like the appeal on the keeper from Kuwait to be successful!

Roy Keane was talking about Joe Hart being too cocky i think theirs a fine line between arrogance and cocky.I think Hart can be cocky where a keeper like Neuer has supreme arrogance in his game.

This is the worst post I have ever seen on here. Why some of our fans persist on getting on the backs of our better players just because of their off-field personalities I will never know. Kept us in the game today and a great keeper.

Camp played well today, very well !

Perhaps making sure the 3 owners who were watching will now offer him a good wage deal to stay ??

Camp has just said on the radio that he loves playing for the club and wants to stay, it's just early days in contract negotiations.

I think unlike previous years contracts will be sorted much quicker than in previous years. Not sure who runs out in summer? Findley/Camp who else?

he did, but in saying that, he did kind of sidestep the question

I guess he should have just said 'I will definitely sign, no matter what offer is put in front of me'? No. He said about as much as he could have.
