Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

Well we've already got a stand named after our greatest manager...

What next though if the trend catches on?

I like the sound of the James Dean Bradfield Stand though!

What else has annoyed you? Other than when the team totally bottled promotion last season?

Is this new money not a good thing for the club?

If you tolerate that, than which club will be next?

Maybe stands could have dual names, The Sue Pollard Stand for people my age, and the Joe Dempsie Stand for the T4 watching yoof.

You might be onto something there.

We could have the Kenneth Clarke stand for the older supporter.

No need to stop there, you could name each seat. Mine would be called the 'MSG seat' and the one next to it would be called the 'MSG wife/girlfriend seat' depending on who I took that day.

The failing to get promoted is not one of them. Most of us knew it would happen after the court case and Leeds, Forest, Charlton etc. took more than 1 year to get out of League 1 - so I did not expect us to get promotion from the first attempt. For the record, I don't expect us to get promoted this season either.

I am all for new money but would rather we were owned solely by McCabe and not get into the foreign owners who have no allegiance to the club.

We recently made staff (in the ticket office etc.) redundant including a guy who has been there years and done a bit of everything, acting as Promotion manager ocover recent seasons. Finally though, McCabe changed his mind and changed the decision to get rid of him but only after numerous complaints from the fans.

Just disheartened with football and the money side of it, in general I guess.

Yes. Derek Dooley or Tony Currie to name 2 quickly. Bet Derek Dooley's family and TC are a bit miffed at it all. But, it's done now. I am told it's only a short term name for the stand which is a bit strange.

Maybe the Royal Mail should paint the stand gold

    I thought so.

I cant decide whether Ennis has overtaken Charlie Webster as the fittest Sheffield United female fan...

I see no harm in raising a clubs profile but if its only temporary then who is it named after then? Although the Sean Bean stand would be better ... perhaps the Full Monty terrace

It's the away end, where I was standing in the lower-tier for the infamous play-off defeat.

So, in a way, I've been in Jessica Ennis's downstairs area.

"Sheffield United could be in line for a cash windfall after their parent company, the Scarborough Group, made a big signing.

Kevin McCabe’s company have invited one of Nigeria’s leading investment bankers, Mr Jacob Esan, onto the board of both Scarborough Group International Limited and the football club.

money pretty much rules, unfortunately. Though it is poss to play the market in a savvy way (see our own S'OD), it's gotta be from a debt free background, it appears.

I was in Cabo Roig when us and Sheff Utd tussled play offs semis in 2003. Can't remember the name of the bar but there was only me, Mum, 3yo daughter and 12 yo step son and a big group of SU fans in the basement of the bar, showing the game. Quite an intimidating atmosphere to begin, then we all got chatting with a tense but good natured 2nd leg expected.

I was devastated after (what was really the first of many playoff overhauls against us, unfortunately) but the atmosphere still fizzed, and I will always remember that big group who made us not only comfortable, but were a pleasure to be amongst.

*what a shame the away goals weren't in force

Yes. I didn't go the away leg but went to the home leg - one of my best games ever as you can imagine although you were on the other side of it. Unfortunately I also went to the play off final. We can never do it in the big games sadly and this is still the same now. Penalties was a cruel way to go out this year but the sad thing was, I was expecting to lose as we always do in finals (or cup semi finals!).

Just hope we can get out of League 1 this time around but I am not expecting to!
