Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

    Default Fahad Al Enezi

Anyone else see this on "Forest Rumours". Al Enezi is a 23 year old Kuwaiti right winger nicknamed "The Kuwaiti Ronaldo". He plays for a different club to the others, Kuwait City I think, and was voted Kuwaits "most valuable player" last season. According to "Forest Rumours" we're supposed to be interested in him. Anyone know if there is any truth in this?

Won't be this season for sure. IF and that's still a big if the kuwaiti trialists can get a work permit , he might have stand a chance of getting a trial here next summer and that's all.

I thought he was the 'Arab Ronaldinho.' And i think that's got more to do with his appearance than the way he plays. Heard his name mentioned a while ago but nothing since. He's meant to be incredibly fast. And he is a winger. Wouldn't kill us to take a look at him

You're right, I stand corrected, he is known as the Arab Ronaldinho. Possibly this is a suggestion by our new owners? I've looked him up on You Tube and he does indeed look very, very fast. Nice footwork too, and puts in a good centre.

He'd get snapped in half like a twiglet. Makes Paul Anderson look beefy

He doesn't look very good to me, his shooting, passing, and crossing are all awful.

He'd last about 5 minutes trying those silly tricks before someone chopped him into pieces then he'd disappear back into his shell and you'd never see another peep out of him.

Exactly wwhat I was thinking whilst watching that video. If a 'best of' video shows the guy running and doing tricks but cuts away just as he crosses/ shoots wide/ gets tackled then alarm bells should start ringing

I thought that too. There were very few goals in the video and many of the crosses are not shown reaching a target so probably didn't.

Jeez, you're very hypercritical. In any match, how many crosses/passes actually lead to a goal? You'd have cricket scores if they were all converted. You all must have been watching a different video to me - I thought his crossing and general play was very good. The guy has a lot of flair.

They were saying reach a target...I would take him personally good impact player at least

My point was that if you're doing a best of video of that length I would expect to either see him score or set up a number of goals. There were a few instances where he tried shooting but had he passed there would have been goals.

Also if you are trying to show off his crosses to there best advantage, you would show them reaching a player to show his accuracy, and if that player then scored, his ability to provide assists. In the main we see him run fast, dribble a little and make a number of crosses which may or may not have hit a barn door. I wasn't expecting everyone to end in a goal but I would like to see them reach the intended target.

What I can't tell from the video is how good his crosses are because they are cut off before the flight is complete. If I were trying to show the guy off at his best, I would show that they reach one of his teams players. If he runs the length of the pitch in 10 seconds and fails to pick out his man / crosses to no one, whats the point. Speed alone and a bit of jiggling doesn't make him a good player. I would have liked to see more of the passes to see if they did reach their target.

I'm not saying he's bad, just that I don't feel the video shows he's really good. Exciting yes, good, not proven.

Fahad is very good. I've been following him for years and for all the times i've seen him play, never once has a left back been able to contain him, even on the international level. He also averages an assist per game but this doesn't tell the whole story, as i think his crossing can be improved a lot, but he is young and there is time for that. People here tend to underestimate the physicality of a player simply because he doesn't play in the english league. But in a league where refs are known for their leniency and where diving is almost non-existent, kuwaiti players have to be able to glide off horrendous tackles at times whilst implementing their game. Fahad has that ability. No to mention his unbelievable speed and acceleration.

Saying that, there is 0 chance at the moment of him joining at the moment. But maybe next season! I hope he gets the opportunity to trial

That's only assuming that our current kuwaiti trialists can get a work permit. It's still up in the air regarding them.

Heard mention yesterday that Bader al-Mutawa will get a work permit...
