Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

Default Blackburn's mental owners threaten to sack Kean

Steve Kean faces sack if Blackburn lose first three games

Thank god we haven't got these kind of owners.

That shebby singh is an utter div.

Its brilliant they appointed someone so completely mental as he will help that club along the path to oblivion.

    Embarrassing.

I don't think there's anything wrong with sacking after 3 successive defeats, it's a miracle he's not been sacked anyway. But to say it in public is unprecedented and undermines the manager to the point of humiliation. Just plain crazy.

Steve Kean is a useless knob and Venky's are a joke, promotion or bust for this shower i think!

The bizarre thing is that his job is safe unless his loses three games in a row. Most managers would kill to have the safety net of knowing a point every three matches keeps you employed, especially if they've just come from the Premiership into the Championship.

Still, who would want that job if he went?

Every town has its ups and down
    Sometime ups outnumber the downs
    But not in Nottingham

Now he's having at pop at Morten Gamst Pedersen:

"Morten Gamst Pedersen used to be a fantastic left winger. Unfortunately he has not reinvented himself as a central midfielder.

"He has got a clean slate. He has lost his legs, he's not been contributing to the team.

"We want people who can run and run, and keep running for 90 minutes for the cause. We are not here to entertain big names, I am sorry, and this is why teams fail.

"Morten Gamst Pedersen, under Sam Allardyce, was possibly three years younger. Wingers lose their pace and if they can't reinvent themselves as central midfielders they are, quite literally, of no use.

"There are players who are past their sell-by-date. If this club wants to move forward, you need energy, you need vigour."

Surely no sane manager would take that job on with that bunch of interfering idiots in charge?

I think a few Blackburn fans hope that they lose the first three games.

I think Kean has gotten an awful lot of unfair treatment over the debacle at Blackburn. The Venkys have been disingenuous to the extreme. From the git go they have not lived up to expectations.

But I've always hated Blackburn, so who cares?

Should have been sacked a long time ago really.

Can't help but feel sorry for the guy though.

I think it would be the perfect job for Billy Davies...

What a disaster that place is.

If Kean had any ounce of respect he'd have walked ages ago

He'll not be there by Christmas, most likely gone well before. Even if they start off well, I can see the new owners interfering and someone else coming in.

Well he's certainly been well sought after since leaving Forest. Those job offers have never stopped rolling in, if Blackburn had any sense they'd install him as manager immediately.
