I think SOD's style of football might suit McGoldrick... maybe Derbyshire will look better too.

S'OD likes players who can move. McGoldrick is slower than a lamppost.

Going out on a limb here, and say Derbyshire. If "good" equals "rather improved, but not excellence".
I don't think McGoldrick has any confidence left, Miller will most likely run about like headless chicken and get himself injured again (there really should be some FA rule allowing certain players to use oven mitts or something), Harewood has left, Bamford has left and Blackstock will most likely deliver.
If Forest could unload either Derbyshire or Miller, I would not mind seeing another striker come in.

You usually get what you can expect from Tudgay so I can't see him improving but will remain a solid sqaud member.

All of the others have some way to go to fulfill their potential so if just 2 of them get anywhere close we should be laughing.

I can imagine any player with the desire to improve responding to SoD.

The problem is O'Driscoll had a role at the club last year so anticipating the crop of the current squad who will be playing a role and who won't is fairly predictable. There may be a few surprises but he may have had a big involvement in team selections when he came in.

I do think Miller is a good striker. He didn't have the best of years but I think he showed some good signs. Not to mention his track record is pretty good on top of that at other clubs. I think he could do a job for us whether or not he gets the opportunity is another matter. Findley as well has shown signs he could be good, I think that miss against Leicester has screwed things up for him a bit whether he recovers from that and makes a comeback I do not know.

Derbyshire I saw nothing! Tudgay has his phases but they don't really last and McGoldrick is McGoldrick!

Miller is good already and does a job at this level when he is fit. Tudgay is average, not a particularly bad player either. Mcgoldrick is the one I can see coming good but not as a striker. He is more suited to an attacking midfield position in my opinion.

For anyone saying Derbyshire, he's gone off injured - already - in the game against Mansfield.

Miller's main problem is injuries, not how good he is.

It was always going to be unlucky signing a player called 'Derbyshire'.

If Miller can stay injury free, I reckon he can do a good job for us. He's not going to top the scoring charts but scoring 10 goals is a possibility for him.

Interesting how people slag off derbyshire, mcgoldrick, miller and to a lesser extent findley yet tudgay is the one with not a single vote of confidence. When he leaves us I am certain he will go to a league 1 club or at best somewhere like barnsley
