Default Team GB at the Olympics (Men and Women)

    Here we go then...

Anyone watching GB Women vs New Zealand? Kick off at 4.

I appreciate a lot of people aren't taking the tournement very seriously, but for me, I'm just glad to have some football to watch, and looking forward to going to the Millenium Stadium next week to see Mexico v Switzerland and GB vs Uruguay

    Come on GB

I am watching it on and off. Missed the goal. Looking more to the men's side though personally. Shame they couldn't have been more diverse in the squad though.

I watched it and enjoyed the lack of rolling around in apparent agony, and the lack of the possibility that a millionaire might burst into tears at any minute because he didn't get a throw in.

Also, as an early groups stage game goes it wasn't too bad. some nice moves, decent goal (lets not mention the keeping though).

Spain losing to Japan at half time and also down to ten men.

Japan look decent on the break, lots of pace.

Spain attempting Tiki Taka without Xavi are in all sorts of trouble.

It looks like one of those games where people will say Spain bossed the game stats-wise and should have won. Even though the Japanese team has been equal if not better so far

If this finishes as it is, GB would be advised to play for second in the group, thus avoiding Spain and presumably Brazil in the top half of the draw.

Japan should be out of sight in this. Could be a dark horse for a medal maybe?

UAE one up against Uruguay! The middle-eastern players on trial don't look a bad idea now, never know what you could find

OliverKayTimes: Confirmed Britain XI vs Senegal (4-5-1?): Butland; Taylor Richards Caulker Bertrand; Bellamy Cleverley Allen Giggs Rose; Sturridge

For fucks sake Pearce, why did you pick only one Right Back (Richards) then play him at centre half?

I see Bale is still struggling with his back injury as of yesterday.

I'm liking the Olympic fonts that the BBC are using. Refreshing font

Well done to the Welsh charity cases for not singing their national anthem, happy enough to represent your Queen though aren't you, twats.
