In the land that calls my name, can't you see we're all to blame? Go on, hang your head in shame.

I don't like her much, but she nevertheless eclipses Lawrenson by some distance.

TeamGB ladies beat Brazil - good work!

You didn't know her name at the time though, although, it was actually Lucy Ward.

Hope this result helps to boost the profile of the Women's game over here. A fantastic effort to beat Brazil!

The women being a part of it makes sense because womens football is so minor in England and their profile will obviously want boosting.

The men's involvement I don't think is right. If they win a medal (which I doubt looking at their squad) I worry that it will suddenly be called for "Team GB" to enter the world cup and euro's instead of England, Scotland and Wales and that is the last thing I want personally.

Not sure..could be a good idea. I'd have no objections as long as there are no Scottish players...not that any would ever make a GB team.

Edinson Cavani rated at Ģ40 Million.

Joe Allen rated at Ģ15 Million.

I have seen nothing in these games to suggest they are worth that much. Ridiculous prices.

Well that was a cracking day out

If I had a bit more cash I'd get a ticket for saturday and drive up again.

During the Mexico v Switzerland game Stuart Pearce was sat a couple of rows behind me! I was so starstruck, but quickly said hello before being ushered away by security. Roy Hodgson and Trevor Brooking also sat a few seats down from me during the GB game, but it was Psycho that had me starstruck. I didn't know what to do with myself!

Decent second half performance, and looking at the teams left in, I can see us getting a medal, although I suspect it will be bronze as I can't see us getting past Brazil in the semi's if we make it that far.

Someone should chin Pearce for leaving Giggs on the bench.

Game on in Wales & doesn't start Giggs. W.T.F ?

€50 on GB to reach the final. Money gone for a sh*t.

at least he wanted to play for his country.

He recovers from meningitis to compete while Gareth Bale feigns injury not to be picked.

Arron Ramsey should never have been allowed to take another penalty in the main match.

He got lock with the first one and was even worse with the other.
