Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

    Default George Friend

Doncaster's captain & player of the year rumoured to be on his way here according to my horoscope.

    Left sided centre back apparently.

A captain, who is a centre half who can play at left back?

Is that really what we need?

    Absolutely not!

How many times do we have to say it, Chris Cohen will be left back!

Watched him on odd occasions over a number of seasons at Rovers thought he was a rubbish left back, friends who are rovers season ticket holders told me last season that he'd moved to centre half and was now there star man, went to a couple of rovers matches and he looked fairly good there. Still young so worth a punt

So he's like a poorer version of Chambers ? Weak at full back , only 1 good season (hardly that good though since Donny got relegated).

This is exactly what my Donny-supporting mate says about him. Was very disappointing at LB, but been a revelation since moving to CB. First thing he said to me when SOD was appointed was that he will probably go in for Friend. My mate says he reads the game well

Is that a poorer version of Chambers in his good season or last season?

How about giving him a chance (IF we sign him), before slagging him off.

Heard #NFFC likely to bid for former #Millwall loanee and #DRFC defender George Friend now that Middlesbrough have had a bid accepted.

    No friend of Mowbrays either

he said: “What seems to have happened is we have made an inquiry and the opposition manager has decided to make that public.

“But I think it would be wrong for me to say anything more at this stage.”
