    Default Forest: An attractive Cub?

With new owners who seem to have some decent resources, and a fairly competent manager in place- I would say Nottingham Forest are a very attractive club to move to. Wouldn't you?

Any young player could further their career and get noticed playing for a big club like Forest in the Championship. Any experienced player could see it as a new challenge to get us promoted. And any player would love to play in front of an average 20,000 home fans a week.
I'm assuming their wage demands could be met (depending on the player of course). And Nottingham is better than most UK cities.

Are we as attractive to other players as I think??

    Yes, yes we are.

Especially now we've got rid of that moaning bumpkin of a manager and brought in a manager who will play good, flowing, passing football.

Haven't we always been 'Attractive'? We're one of the biggest footballing names in the country and have a History anyone in the division would kill for.

    We are now.

An iconic team (we've been that since the late 1970's), a very competent manager, good resources now.

We can look forward to this season. Not expecting promotion though.

I would agree completely. However, as you now well know that many players nowadays look at the money factor.

Forest haven't necessarily been stable the last few months, but these new owners might spark a change in player's opinion...or maybe that's a bad thing- they might expect more money than they deserve.

Agents have the biggest say where players go these days and therefore money talks. Young men with agents in their ear 24/7 are easily swayed. Especially when tales of untold wealth are being whispered.

This is it. Agents also like to make a name for themselves ie. ' I moved this player to that club ' etc. My best guess is that Forest would be Thatclub

Personally i don't think we are an attractive club with regards to signing players, especially this season, not with the new owners coming out and saying something along the lines of, We are not going for promotion this season, a mid table finish will also be ok....
Players want to join a club thats going places and apparently we are not, well according to the new owners anyway.
I also think SOD wont have the pulling power to get good players in as he is not a "Big Name" as such among the players playing at a higher level, however thats why i think we are after a DOF, someone like Coppell is a much bigger name than SOD in the football world and as such will draw a better player to the club, thats my opinion of things as they stand. Don't get me wrong, i'm extremely pleased that we signed SOD, moreso than any of the other names that were being banded about.

only about the agents, attractiveness means nothing really at champ level, its a dire league quality wise.
That is exactly why appointing SOD was a masterstroke, just a tad of real quality footy can the difference

Being attractive is only important at Prem level, that is when our overlords can real show us the value
