This is silly. What were we expecting?? Pep Guardiola? SOD pretty much saved Forest from relegation last season after Cotts devastating 7 game disgrace. All the other big names- Mick, Harry, Sven (didn't want him anyway), said no. Ferguson couldn't be got and Keane didn't Apply.

How is this a bad appointment?? Sometimes I don't understand peoples logic.

I'm sure you're right- I think the point to note here is that we are running out of time before the start of the season with very few players in our squad- there comes a point where you have to bite the bullet and name a decent manager before signings slip away and players are less prepared for the opening 6 games then they should be.

SOD knows the players already and was a great manager at Doncaster with very little resources. Now he should have those resources so lets give him a shot!

Absolutely Im well happy with the appointment, had a read of that interview he did at Donny too and thats made me convinced 110% this is the right decision.
