    Default Worrying signs from Al-Hasawi.

In the press conference on Saturday 14th July, Abdulaziz Al-Hasawi said that Nottingham Forest is a great club, despite being in the bottom division.

Now wait. The bottom division? Why would they say that....?

I am anxious about the whole takeover in general; and I read online that the Blackburn owners were not aware relegation out of the Premier League was possible.

Then Al-Hasawi goes and says something massively incorrect like that and it just added to my anxiety.

Fawaz is the football brain in the Al-Hasawi family, not Abdulaziz. Chill geezer.

Yeah, I am probably reading too much into it, but it's such a glaring error to me.

The sort of thing that IF the whole thing did go tits up, people would say that lack of knowledge should have been an alarm bell.

I won't chill until we're in the Premier League with a 20-per-season striker signed.

They are foreign, their english isn't perfect and they will often use words that don't fit in the right context.

Chill out and enjoy the ride!

Isn't it just. They also said they want "a strong figure who will inspire the players" so why don't we all just assume they mean Billy Davies as he is clearly the best man at that particular aspect.

    I know right here's hoping!!

I don't know how used Abdulaziz is to public speaking, especially in a foreign language, but I'm prepared to forgive him the odd slip of the tongue or the odd wrong choice of translation.

You have to remember that English is not their first language so dissecting every word is pointless and really quite foolish.

Sit back and see what happens.

These guys were brought up and educated in England according to the same press conference.alright it was most likely Eaton, so i can see why they know nothing about football.

He says and I quote 'Although it is in the SECOND Division or the bottom division. I think it's just bad English and he means lower when he says 'bottom'.

Relax. I think we'll be fine. Did the Blackburn owners really think that?

The owner's actions speak louder than words and so far (although early days) they are taking the right actions.

When Div 1 and 2 become semi-pro, with no promotion or relegation from the Premiership and the Championship the Championship will be the bottom division...
