So IF the takeover goes through, what are the top 5 things people want to see straight away from the new owners...

    Mine...

    1. A clear plan to see us reach the Premier League
    2. A new manager who has his teams play football as football should be played.
    3. Investment in the squad
4.investment in the academy for long term sustainability. Possibly look at us obtaining grade one status.
    5. A general tidy up of The City Ground which has been left to rot for years. I suspect there will be talk of a new stadium but it still needs a good clean in the short term.

There's an article in the NEP that apparently Palladini (or whatever the QPR bloke's name is) has illegally approached Darren Ferguson.

If we have a new manager, I'd rather it not be him ... although he may be able to sweet talk 'Dad' into letting us loan some players

He does at least try to play some decent football and they finished above is didn't they? With a much cheaper squad. It's not much of a step up from Cotts but it's a step up.

In a legal sense I doubt that a private individual can tap up a manager on behalf of a club they don´t own yet..

Yep, to be fair they were probably the most entertaining side in The Championship last year but my god they leak some goals.

Try and purchase the land the city ground is on. Surely the council would welcome some money to waste?

Name the "corner" after Nigel Doughty.

Invest money in the Academy. It's our future and we need to have a better setup than other local sides so we get the best of the talent.

Spruce up the CG, and announce plans to rebuild the Main Stand.

That would do me for now.

I'd be happy for us just to sign up our out of contract players to start with.

A few additions in key positions (left back, wingers) and a stadium clean up too would be nice.

Depending on who is available I'd be open to giving Cotterill a chance to prove himself, but that's a different debate I guess.

I certainly won't be demanding or expecting promotion this season, it takes time to build a squad, fear many others will expect though.

A manager with a proven track record in the Championship, with knowledge of the Championship and preferably has previously been promoted or thereabouts.

Give youth a chance, help blood through some prospects instead of just buying a new squad and no youngsters getting a look in, ever.

Bit of a refurb in the CG, nothing fancy, just better food / beer and a bit of paint would do the job.

No overpaid, big name joruney men to join, a la Andy Cole, Neil Lennon etc.

Cohen, Gunter and Blackstock to be good offered deals until 2016.

Not too much to ask surely.

All of the above esp. 4. Category One status for the academy.

Bad idea IMO when owners of clubs meet with fans. Never going to please everybody any other way then winning games. I do wonder about those who get perks from the club are now worried that'll stop.

1)Reduce season tickets and have the ground filled every match. Those that have renewed already give them back the difference or have them credited vouchers for the Club Shop and/or the Ticket Office to use for away matches/home cup games etc.

2)Home fans in Lower Bridgford. Away fans in upper clough in the 2 end blocks near Trent End.

    3) rebuild the Main Stand to a similar size as it is now but join it to Lower Trent End and Bridgford. Incorprate a screen into that stand near the Bridgford end of it.

4)designated singing area for those that want to sing, can, and those that don't can sit in peace

    5) get more kiosks/bars etc in the stands to cut down the wait at HT. If we are going to get bigger gates then the wait will be even worse than it already is!

    1) get a good manager who is capable of taking us up.
    2) upgrade the youth system and try and get hold of some decent prospects from other clubs.
    3) sign a LB (Shorey), 3 CB's, Adlene Guedioura, a couple of wingers and a good striker.
    4) offload dead wood (Derbyshire, McGoldrick).
    5) do a bit of work on the stadium, maybe even draw up some plans to rebuild the main stand.

    Jobs a good 'un.
